This tiny little pet store is located in a nice plaza that can meet all of your shopping needs. It carries great pet products for better prices than your average pet store chains, though of course being a smaller establishment, you may not find the less common items here. I have bought many betta fish supplies, fish medications, catnip toys, and dog treats at this store, and I am always happy with the service I receive. Adoption days are always fun to visit, too, with many eligible dogs or cats waiting to find a good home.

LOVE this place!! This was the only place I went to look for bridesmaids dresses but some of my bridesmaids who were with me had gone to other places before. One of my friends said it best when she said, "The ugliest one here is probably the best one anywhere else". They have the best selection and outstanding staff, I left giving everyone hugs. Betsy is so helpful and follows up with you to make sure you don't fall behind. I ended up picking 4 different styles and each bridesmaid can choose which one she wants. This is definitely the place you want to go if you want your bridesmaids to still like you after the wedding!!

We rented a tuxedo here for a friend's wedding. I was impressed at how friendly and nice the man who helped us was. My husband stopped in at his convenience before the wedding to get fitted and it took absolutely no time at all... and when he went back to pick it up for the event, they had him try it on and make sure the fit was a good one. All of the needed parts were there (all the way down to the shoes) and the tux looked really sharp... very easy rental and very nice folks!

As someone who used to work in a boutique, I have always been VERY picky about the stores I shop in. I love boutique shopping, but sometimes find it to be disappointing...be it poor customer service, or a lack of selection. When I was in La Jolla a few weeks ago I came across Robina. I can honestly say it is probably the best boutique I have EVER been in! They have a fabulous selection of all my favorite designers like Rachel Pally, Tom Nguyen, Red Engine, Rozae Nichols...and the list goes on. The owner and manager were very friendly, knowledgable, and were great at helping me put together fun, sophisticated, and flattering outfits that I love! When they didn't have a size I needed, they went out of their way and offered to special order it for me. Shopping at Robina was probably one of the best shopping experiences I've had, and I recommend this store to everyone!

Rangoni's is a local shoe boutique and boasts beautiful footwear for those who can afford their prices. I love their selection, and the fit is wonderful, so it is worth it to pay a little more for a shoe that is comfortable. Parking on Girard is a little tough, but you can usually find something. Rangoni's is generous to the local non-profits and often donates a portion of their sales to charities.

While it may come off as a little foofy and boutique-ish when you first enter through the selection of unneccessary and usually overpriced gifts that surround the front door, at heart, this store is functional and fantastic. They have a great selection of books, and many of the shelves feature short reviews written by the knowledgeable staff on features reads. The stationary shop sells both regular and everyday pens and paper, with beautiful invitations and stationary, more pens than you'll ever need, and the complete line-up of moleskine products. They also host a lot of author events and even have a counter full of pretty jewelry towards the front of the store. Some of those overpriced knick-knacks near the door are even sort of cool, once you give them a chance. It's got that great neighborhood store feel to boot, as well as a surprisingly large selection of everything for such a small space.
Pros: Tons of Books, Beautiful Stationary, Great Service
Cons: Parking on Girard is often nightmarish at best

Barbie and Gary are truly the reason we return to make special purchases. They carry only the finest diamonds and treat each customer very special. They are the only store I shop for fine Jewelry. Tiffany does not compare! Gary & Gina
Pros: Exceptional selection of high end diamond rings and customer service
Cons: Parking on Girard can be a challenge, but the walk through La Jolla is worth it!
