This is for all the glider sports enthusiasts. There is Para-gliding & Glider planes. The location of this spot is also breathtaking, on top of the Torrey Pines cliffs & you can see the beautiful sea front with the world famous Golf course to the side. I like this spot a lot as I can climb down some challenging trials to get to the beaches.

If you are a hang glider you already know about Torrey Pines. If not, and you have the courage to float above the cliffs if suggest you look into Torrey Pines Glider port. They offer instruction, tandem flights, equipment and certification. Even if you don't think you can bring yourself to hang above the cliffs attached to a kite, this is a great place to relax. The view are amazing, just do get too close to the cliffs, as they can be unstable and dangerous.

This is definitely a must-see location if you're in the San Diego area. It's not too far from the Pacific Beach and Mission Beach communities. Also this is right next to UCSD campus. The place is known for the parasailing school that sits on the top of the hill. If you drop in at a reasonable hour you're likely to see several people parasailing at once. I'm not quite current on the price if you want to actually do parasailing but I'm pretty sure you can at least expect triple digits. You've got a great view of the entire coast line and there is even a trail along the side that takes you down to a surfers point. The trail is rather long and narrow so make sure you have the appropriate footwear. Definitely bring a jacket as the wind can make things a bit chilly. It is gravel and dirt parking so watch out if you got a really nice car.
