Spice and Rice is awesome - great atmosphere, service, and food. It is right on Prospect Street and easy to find. This is one of our favorite restaurants and we eat here a lot.

I travel a lot and have been to a lot of thai restaurants and Spice & Rice is and always will be my favorite. I love the people, the restaurant itself, and the service. The pineapple fried rice is amazing! After your meal, you can walk around downtown La Jolla. Love it! I cannot recommend it enough.

I first visited Spice and Rice for lunch with a group of coworkers, and I have been back numerous times ever since. The atmosphere in this little restaurant is quiet and elegant, though the noise level does rise quite a bit during peak lunch hours. The service is great, and the food is always delicious. I always choose the medium level of spicy, which is already quite hot.

This little restaurant in downtown La Jolla is quite a find. They have an excellent menu with a great selection. My favorite is the spicy Pad Thai. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The staff is friendly and the service excellent. Be sure to try the desserts the flaming bananas are quite a treat.
