We stayed here for our daughter's wedding on the beach. We had several rooms, and everyone was so happy with the hotel. It is historic and beautiful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Kudos to the bell staff for helping so much with our large truck and trailer, as parking is tight. They were also willing to help with transportation to anything close by on their golf cart for those that couldn't walk easily. The price is a little high, but worth it for the view, location, and historic but clean, comfortable rooms!

My dad stays here every time he comes to La Jolla to visit me. The location is really convenient for those visiting UCSD.
If you have the VIP standing you have access to their lounge which has a nice selection of fresh fruit and appetizers. The cookies that they give out when you check in are really good too.

While some restaurants give in to the temptation to follow trends, and sometimes end up paying a dear price for such indulgence, Crab Catcher has managed to flawlessly maintain their reputation for consistently providing guests with innovative, brilliantly achieved cuisine for many years.
It certainly comes as no surprise that this is one local restaurant where it is practically impossible to find an empty table on any given night of the week.

Stayed at the BW La Jolla with my mom. in La Jola for a wedding. Pleasantly surprised. Hotel is clean, modern and in fine physical condition. rooms size is ample, staff was helpful and La Jolla has many fine restaurants in wlaking distance

This is a world class location for a beach hotel....right on the beach at La Jolla Shores and minutes away from great restaurants and shopping in the Shores area of La Jolla. There are miles of beach to walk along, and a park and playground nearby. I highly recommend this hotel, but be sure to request a beach view room.

Located just above the La Jolla Cove, you will really enjoy the view from this hotel. It is not as fancy as other hotels you will find in La Jolla, but you can walk to the park across the street and enjoy the view for some of the most beautiful beaches in California. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel has parking and conference facilities.

Aside from a great selection of freshly brewed beer, Karl Strauss also has a wide selection on their food menu which ranges from burgers to ahi steaks. The bratwursts were very tasty as were the garlic mashed potatoes that accompanied the dish.
A place for the beer connoisseur where you can choose your beer according to its stats such as bitterness and body. I like my beer with a nice hoppy flavor and full bodied and when served fresh, it is absolutely delicious.
Service here is very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is upbeat. A great place for college kids or a night for low key drinks amongst friends.
