First of all, I would like to compliment the overall feel of the pizzeria. It's warm and the aroma of great pizza is everywhere! The people are very nice and courteous, and, in my opinion, serve the best pizza in town! If your willing to try it, do it! You won't be disappointed. It's my favorite pizza place of all time.
Pros: Great customer service, nice people, AMAZING pizza

This is one of my favorite restaurants. It's a beautiful restaurant with something for everyone. A nice indoor seating section, a large bar, and outdoor seating. The bar on the weekends has live music. The outdoor seating has a fire pit. You must make a reservation. The service is great and so is the food. Especially their desserts.

Always the right price, I love to do my shopping at Trader Joe's. Their food is fresh, and they have a lot of unique offerings as they carry their own brand of just about everything: from vitamins, to salsa or pesto, to just about the best lemonade I've ever tasted. I also love their Artichoke & Lemon Pesto. I add extra artichoke hearts (canned--TJ's has the best price in town) and use their garlic basil rotelle (spiral) pasta. Yum! If you haven't been to Trader Joe's yet, check it out!

Located in a small strip mall, so there is never a long wait, which is nice when you really want some good Mexican food! This place has a good Japanese feel that would make any person feel like they are in japan. The sushi and other Japanese food available make for a great meal that anyone would like. The pricing is affordable and the nice workers make the experience a very good one for all restaurant goers.

On a recent trip to Mission Viejo, I took a few people to a camp across the freeway from this McDonald's. It was a convenient location, but the restaurant is too small. We visited several times over the course of 5 days and had a fairly long wait each time. We would have gone somewhere else if we knew the area better.

It's a crying shame there?s only 1 review for Las Golondrinas, and it's from a guy who doesn't know what he's talking about. I've eaten at the Laguna Hills and the SJC locations for years, and I've never seen an orange cheese sauce.
The tacos are phenomenal (and only $1.25 on Tuesdays). They are also very filling. I've had "large" co-workers buy 4 tacos their first time going to Las Golondrinas (they figured $1.25 tacos couldn't possibly be that big...) only to give away 1 or even 2 of the tacos because they are stuffed.
The quesadillas are loaded with melted, SHREDDED cheddar cheese and a red sauce. The tamales are also fantastic, and I must point out, very authentic. You can get the normal Pork/Beef/Chicken tamales, as well as some delicious dessert sweet tamales.
I convinced my boss to get Las Golondrinas for catering once. There were happy smiles all over the office. Mf boss made a point to say that it was the first time that NO ONE complained about the catering. That's pretty amazing when it even beats out Pizza for broad acceptance. Needless to say, we've gotten catering from Las Golondrinas many more times.
Did I mention the chips and guacamole? The chips, which are made in the restaurant, have the most magnificent corn flavor. I've never, ever eaten a chip anywhere else that even comes close to the explosion of corn flavor that these chips contain. The guacamole is some of the best guacamole I have ever eaten. Perfectly flavored, and premium texture. Yes, the texture of guacamole is very important.
Las Golondrinas is mainly a catering/take-out restaurant, so there are not a lot of tables (like, 2). Especially if you are going to go on Tuesday, try to arrive before noon. Better yet, call in your order and take it to go!

Taqueria El Granjenal in Costa Mesa, Albertacos in Mission Viejo, Taco Mesa, Chronic Tacos,
Cafe Maiz (Only the tamale. What a tamale!)

Ok, I'll confess I've only ordered the Steak Kabob Dinner, which comes with salad & rice & pita-type bread, but it is SO excellent that I never have the heart to try anything else! Since this restaurant isn't in my immediate neighborhood, it's a special treat to be able to swing by. The meat is delicious: tenderly marinated and cooked on a mesquite grill, giving it a wonderful, savory flavor. If you like kabob, give Grill Hut a go! Seating is limited, but there is a spacious outdoor patio shared by other restaurants in this food court area.

I love their dinners! I had my mom's 60th Birthday there and the manager, Katia, was so helpful and set everythink up. My family loved the food and the ambiance. It is a great place for events, or for a casual breakfast. Also a great date place!
Pros: Really good breakfast, lunch and dinner
