My friends and I went to Lulu?s for dinner and had a terrific time. We not only enjoyed the food, but the wonderful singer that they had there during dinner. The service was prompt and the waitress was very sweet. I had the rack of lamb with a delicious rice pilaf and the most incredible green beans I have ever eaten! My friends had the filet mignon and a seafood crepe --- both were very tasty. However, for dessert, we had a Bananas Foster Crepe topped with this incredible homemade vanilla ice cream --- so yummy!!! I am going back to try the rest of the dessert crepes they offer there!
Pros: Entertainment, Crepes, Rack of Lamb, Vegetables
Cons: Hard to Find

The crepes at Lulu's are the BEST I have had outside of Paris! My favorites are the Chocolate-Hazelnut Crepe (i.e. Nutella) with fresh strawberries and the Irish -- a delightful crepe flambe with Baileys Irish Cream, bananas, and fresh strawberries.
For dinner, I have tried (and loved) both the La Mer (seafood crepe) and the Francaise (chicken & portobello mushrooms).
The crepes at Lulus are the Brittany-Style -- if you haven't tried them yet -- they are just like you would get in Paris!
Pros: Best Crepes Outside of Paris
Cons: Hard to find the cafe!

It was the first time that I was back to Lulu's Cafe, now Lulu's Crepererie in 2 years. The chef is not the same. If the decoration has not changed, it is not the case of the food. Before it was not a creperie, now it is. I do not know where the "chef" learned how to do crepes, but he should go back to school.
First and foremost, he does not cook them enough. The dough is far from the real stuff and moreover the salty ones are swimming into their sauce (it at least cover the poor taste, or add taste to the tasteless dough). The sweet ones are dry and the dough has no taste either.
Please give up and cook juicy hamburgers instead.
Pros: Ambiance
Cons: Crepes

My husband and I went to Lulu's this weekend for the first time. Several friends had highly recommended it, so we decided to try it. We had the BEST time. The violinist there is top notch --- she has toured with major Broadway musicals and is truly exceptional! At the next table from us was a retired director from the LA Philharmonic and a renowned cellist himself who commented on the exceptional talent of this lovely lady!
If she wasn't so talented, I would have started with the food! We started our dinner with a lovely Chardonnay -- and to our surprise, a complementary Pate Platter was served with our wine --- delicious! We then had the French Onion Soup --- some of the best I have ever tasted in the United States. It took me back to my travels in France. We then had the Salmon (tender, delicious!) and the Osso Bucco (absolutely perfect!). We finished our dinner with Creme Brulee. This was one of the best creme brulees I have had. I cannot believe it took us so long to go to this quaint, family-owned restaurant. You should try it --- it won't disappoint!
Pros: Food and Entertainment
Cons: None --- it was lovely
