Tuvalu is a great place to buy unique gifts all year round. The staff is very helpful. Prices can be high but worth the originality. I would recommend visiting Tuvalu, when in Laguna.

This place gets very busy so I tried it out on a Monday night. I am not big on eating raw so there were not many options for me. I tried the LA roll and crunchy roll. Both were very good! Just a heads up, they do not have straws.
Pros: fresh ingredients, female chef, unique menu
Cons: gets very busy, long waits, very small

Hobie is a local favorite with the surfers. They have a pretty good selection of surf/skater wear. The owners are also very involved with the community and support all kinds of local fundraisers and what-not. The prices are comparable with other surf shops in the area but this one has a really great feel. Friendly staff who can help you find what you are looking for.

This Laguna standby is hidden off PCH but if you can find it it's worth it. The restaurant is a converted old house that actually sits over the sand. They have an open air patio that you can sit on (if you ask nicely) and it's like eating right on the surf. They make a wonderful Sunday brunch or late night desert. The prices are not ridiculous and the food is terrific. They have valet parking so you don't have to worry about the meters.

I've been to Ocean multiple times now and have loved every single time. The people are great, the drinks cheap, and everyone is dancing. Bartenders are super friendly, but only to women. DJ plays great music throughout the night. $5 cover. Beautiful OC people fill the room. If you live in the area and have not visited yet, it's a must!

We came here the night of our wedding. We had an early wedding and by the time we checked into the Cottages we were really hungrey! We came to this marvelous restaurant and were seated promptly outside. It was so romantic and cozy! We were wished best wishes by the owner/manager and were brought out a wonderful Tirimisu for dessert! They also offered us a bottle of champagne!
Bummer! We went back on our first anniversary and the place was closed! We hear they are remodeling and look forward to maybe visiting again for our second anniversary!

This theater is really cute! It is located in the heart of Laguna Beach just before the Canyon road begins. They have a variety of different plays going on throughout the year and they are always enjoyable. It is a small theater but it is very nice for a chance of scenery or just something else to do besides going to the movies. They have a snackbar with really great chocolate chip cookies, my favorite part of seeing any show!
