This is one of Laguna's finest hotel establishments. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the hotel is adorable. It is almost brand new and the builidings resemble little cabins. It is expensive, but worth every penny of it! Even if you are not staying there, you should definately go down and look around. They have a great trail running just along the beach that is a wonderful walk.

The Montage has become a first rate hotel (and the prices reflect this) but if you aren't staying at the hotel you can still walk down to the beach. They have an awesome open park right off PCH that is a wonderful spot to catch the sunset. You can usually park across the street in the Alberson's parking lot so as to avoid the meters on PCH. A nice place for an evening stroll.

I was lucky enough to receive a gift card to Montage Resort and Spa. I booked a few spa services for myself and a friend. We arrived early, and recommended. The resort is breathtaking. The views are spectacular. After being fitted with a large fluffy white bathrobe, we lounged around at the private pool area for the spa. (separate from the larger resort pool.) At the pool we received the best service possible. When it came time for our appointments, we were escorted to a lovely spa. Warm bath, steam rooms, sunning areas, and a quiet room were available. The staff was amazing. The spa itself is beautiful. This is the ultimate in luxury.

If I die, I hope I go here instead of heaven. What a beautiful place. I was here for a wedding, and you always hear about those people who go to places that you will never be able to afford, even if you put all your life savings together. These are the peoople,, this is the place. The view, the lounges, the restaurants, all are a bit above top notch. I felt awkward valet parking my ten year old car here. I would feel awkward valet parking a new BMW convertible here. I swear I saw a batplane land on the rooof. Anyway, if you ever have a millionn doollars to blow... you jerk, go support a South Asian country and feed its people for a few years.
