Funny name but a fun fun place. Lots of sweaty men and not alot of women. The brunch is great, drinks are strong and you can dance if you can find a place on the dance floor. Pool and darts and a nice ocean breeze.

Take your date or find one. When on vacation I always make a trip down the PCH for dinner in Laguna Beach and end the night at 'the Boom'. I like to get a hotel nearby and walk back to my hotel room after closing the bar. The scene is upbeat and classy, the drinks and bartenders are great, and the crowd is gorgeous. The next morning I look forward to grabbing a coffee and sitting at an overlook to watch the Pacific surf. This is one of the oldest 'alternative' bars on the west coast and it just feels right! Pros: Great crowd, great staff, wonderful locale. Incredible history, still current. Cons: Mostly a weekend hangout.
