From the name (meaning I love you in Italian), to the setting (in idyllic Laguna Beach), Ti Amo Ristorante screams romance. What better place for an enchanting first date, anniversary, or Valentine's day retreat. No matter where you sit in Ti Amo, you'll be in an atmosphere of perfect romantic intimacy. To make even better, the food is superb. Albeit a bit pricey, it's well worth it. Highly recommended are the bruschetta alla abruzzo - bruschetta kicked up a notch with grilled pizza bread and capers along with the traditional toppings of tomatoes, basil, red onion and balsamic vinegar. As for entrees, the Gnocchi di Vitello al Funghi is a must: tender and chewy gnocchi pasta with veal. Also, the Tonno Grigliato al Risotto is great, with rare ahi tuna seved with a delicious sundried tomato risotto. Although really, you can't go wrong with any dish on the menu.

El Cajellon offers some of the most delicious, authentically prepared Mexican cuisine in Orange County, with an emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients.
When you first sit down, you are given a basket of homemade chips with a tomatillo salsa and a pico de gallo. The PDG is pretty standard, but the tomatillo salsa is tangy, mildly spicy with lots of garlic and onions. Make sure your date eats some too!
If you like pork, try the Cochinita Pibil, which consists of pork marinated in a deep, rich, spicy red sauce, garnished traditionally with pickled onion slices. A truly fabulous dish. If spice is not your thing, the tampiquena offers thinly sliced skirt steak marinated in mild spices and served with light, fluffy rice and beans and your choice of tortillas. For breakfast, El Cajellon offers chilaquiles (thinly sliced fried corn tortillas cooked in a spicy sauce and served with scrambled eggs) that will get your motor running.
For the less adventuresome, the menu also includes the tacos and fajitas. However, El Cajallon takes it up a notch with the use of high quality, fresh ingredients that light up your palate with flavor.
El Cajellon offers about 60 different tequilas, and margaritas pack a wallop that will require a jaunt around the block or down to the board walk before getting into your car to drive home. At the end of your meal, be sure to leave room for the home made flan. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Flan schman big deal. But seriously, El Cajellon's flan puts creme brulee to shame. It has a nice, custard structure with a deep, vanilla flavor and is beautifully caramelized to give it a rich sweetness that simply melts in your mouth.
With a glass ceiling, wide flung windows and view of the ocean, El Cajellon offers a truly memorable dining experience. Why fight the crowds at Javiers when you can get better quality food in the heart of quaint, downtown Laguna?
Pros: Food, Flavor, Drinks, Service, Ambiance
Cons: Parking, Can be pricey depending on what you get

I have lived behind this restaurant with my Finace for ten years. We say it is our 2nd home. The Cottage is an experience as it is a historic landmark and a Laguna Beach/Southern California Tradition. It is a California bungalow (originally a private residence) that was built in the early 1900's. It offers great architecture, ambiance/home like surroundings, friendly/experienced servers (most have worked for the restaurant longer than I have lived in Laguna!) and home style cooking including good size portions. The Cottage is known for it's breakfasts and people from all over come to enjoy it all week long, however to we locals, it is also a great take out restaurant for lunch and dinner as well. In fact I just happened upon your site while searching for their menu to order dinner! The owner, Jennifer (former/current caterer) really takes care to serve good food and keep long term employees, customers happy. You can find her there most days with her sleaves rolled up. Anyway, if you are coming to visit Laguna you must expericence The Cottage to truly experience ...well, Laguna!
PROS: architecture, history, ambiance, great servers, good home cooking/portions

Next time you're out at Laguna Beach and you don't want to take out a second mortgage on your house in order for some fine dining, take a tip from the Queen and eat at the old White Man's KFC. Here's the inside scoop for you adventuresome types that can walk good on rocks. Park on a meter if you must and walk to the KFC - order a value meal (the kind that comes in those neat plastic trays) and then take the short hike down to the sea shore.... pull up a beach bolder and sit yourself down and enjoy some of the most spectacular views of the beach ever!
From your humble vantage point, you will dine in a spot more heavenly than Los Brisas, Hotel Laguna and the Beach House combined!!!!
Look at the beach house rentals next to you and think of this fact; the people renting those homes have to shell out thousands of dollars per week to have the same view you are having, only you are way smarter and are enjoying this stupdendously gorgeous breathtaking view - - - FOR FREE!!!!
Just because you read this review...you are going to knock the socks off your date, or your kids or whomever else you wish to impress --- Champagne tastes on a root beer budget, aren't the best things in life FREE?
Pros: HIKE TO THE BEACH, less than a block away!
Cons: You may not be able to brag about where you ate.

One of the best views in Orange County! Fantastic selection of wines by the glass, and very knowledgeable wait staff. Bartenders are experienced. The musical stylings of Steve Siu and David Allan Baker are sure to please. Come for the sunset if you can!

Unique bar table for singles where one can strike up friendly conversation and be heard above the band, yet simultaneously enjoy the music and ambience. Some of the most professional and accomplished recording artists available, such as Bill Tannebring, Mark Isbell, Paul Forney, Gary Hogan, Fred Carroll, and Shelley Gordon among others perform Sunday nights. Don't miss this one!
Pros: Warm, convivial atmosphere, good service, food and drink.
Cons: On crowded nights parking scarce. Be early. No dancing,

I've been to many Johnny's and this one has some lovely views of the boardwalk and ocean. While one wouldn't necessarily think of stopping here while visiting Laguna Beach, my girlfriend and I needed something quick and cheap before continuing on our journey. My chicken strips were cooked well and our waiter was nice. This location gets very crowded on weekends and you have to find street parking (in some cases) several blocks away.

This is a very small taco place with seating at a couple of table outside. The tacos are terrific...I have had hundreds it seems. The chicken may be fresh, because on one visit there were live chickens wandering around by the outside table...surreal! If I drive by, I have to stop!

VERYYYYYY tasty and healthy food. entire menu has nutritional value for each meal. andy's flaxseed pancakes were huge and compared to the size, quite low in points (9). I had the eggs, which were quite low in points (3).. andy's dad had some kind of egg wrap which was also very delicious, I didn't calc the points tho.
I would go back again and try other things... makes life easy to calculate points and the food was yummy.
8.5/10
