I love taking my boyfriend & parents to 230 Forest after walking alongside the beach and window shopping on Forest St. This is definitely a place to share with family and friends. Plus, they have enough flat screen TVs with sports games on; enough to keep the guys entertained & not at all distracting for everyone else to enjoy their meal.
The menu is made up of seafood & poultry, all of which is incorporated into classic American favorites such as baby back ribs, mac & cheese, grilled fish, steak & even beef stroganoff. Food to try:
Swordfish with crab meat - This was a chef's special & had a medley of corn, tomatoes, garlic & crab meat on top of the swordfish. No corn from a can from this place, it had the vibrant crunch of fresh corn!
Gorgonzola Mac & Cheese - Not on the menu, this is a side dish on one of the entrees. It's small enough to share with another person & adds to any meal. They added a little spice to the cheese & topped it with breadcrumbs for extra oomph.
Hoisin Duck Eggrolls - Appetizer. Great to split for 2-3 people & savory enough to satisfy ravenous guests. Especially since they put sliced hot baguettes & olive spread as soon as you're seated.
Baby Back Pork Ribs - Order the full, it's only $3 more than the half & you're sure to have perfect late-night leftovers. Amazingly paired with shoestring onion rings & mashed potatoes.
Molten Chocolate Bread Pudding - Save room for this coma-inducing dessert. This is a single large slice of bread pudding, soaked in the sweetness of caramel & cocoa. Walk a few times around the block after this one.
Pros: Fresh seafood, uncomplicated & heightened style on favorites
Cons: Parking can be limited on Forest St.

I am very glad I chose them for my floor and counter tops. His granite and stone crew are so professional and clean that is unbelievable. I also had custom hardwood floor for my living room and dinning room. Very nicely done. With reasonable price. I would defenitely recommend them.

Tivoli Terrace is a great location for weddings and special events. They offer wonderful package prices which include everything for the ceremony and reception, including a live pianist for the ceremony and the table linens, food, appetizers, and an award-winning carrot cake. Beautiful facility for the ceremony in an upstairs, outdoor chapel. The only down-side is that the whole place is outdoors so if it rains it could be a drag, even though they have some tented covering. Also check out their sister-site across the street: Tivoli Too!

Most beautiful CA resort. The service is outstanding , the views are amazing , the food is excellent with an extensive wine list, the spa is gorgeous and the bar serves the best fish and chips around. The resort is quite expensive but well worth it. Makes a very romantic getaway!

One of my favorites in Laguna Beach - there is a huge selection so this is a good place to bring friends as there is something for everyone.
I've never had a bad meal here - sandwiches, sushi, tacos, soups - all yummy!! My favorite is the BLT on toasted bagatte - but rotate around because it's all very good.
I like the cute outdoor patio or sometimes I get it to go and head to the beach right around the corner.

IF you are getting married any time soon, check out this place, 7 degrees. If you have internet, check them out online. This place is very classy in their preparation and delivery of the weddings. They allow the bride and groom a lot of freedom to do their wedding. The space that they provide is rather small, about 250 people i think, but it's well worth it. The reception area is below the area where the bride and groom get married. Their set-up for the reception is very high tech and modern. The food that they prepare is very fresh and delicious. This is a definite must to check out if you are planning a wedding.

When I was planning my wedding way back in 1997 I wanted the look of hand tied bouquets, but what I had the budget for was cookie cutter bouquets from the florist. I read about 2 G roses in an online bridal forum and decided that I could order direct from the grower and still get my hand ties bouquets, i would just tie them myself!
Though it's been 9 years I can still remember the wonderful advice from their customer service department on the phone about how to plan my order for the entire wedding, what kinds of flowers would suit my colors and plan the best and how to make a basic bouquet. The best advice she gave me was that with beautiful flowers in simple arrangements, you just cannot go wrong. The flowers are going to be beautiful on their own. And it was true, even now when people see our wedding photos they are blown away at how pretty the roses and sunflowers were and how it all turned out.
