Petsmart never used to be a great place to get fish, until the recent few years. No longer are there dead fish floating in tanks, and they have knowledgable staff now. They give great advise on plants as well as fish. Very friendly, too. One lady went to look in the stockroom to see if an item had come in yet.
Checkers are often conversationally involved, and make comments according to your purchases.

This Petsmart is one of the best. When shopping for pet supplies, I usually have one or two coupons to use. Twice now I have went there to get items (pet food) that were not in stock and they substituted the items for the exact same brand but just different sizes to meet the coupons requirements, which saved me a trip back to the store. And they were happy to do it. Kudo's to Petsmart!

This is a great store where you can find almost anything that you would need for your pet. They are a little pricier than Wal Mart or other discount store. Although friendly staff are present, it is sometimes hard to track one down to help you find something.
PROS: Variety of products
CONS: Prices are higher, staff hard to find

We bought an aquarium and had no idea what we were doing. They were so patient and smart about everything fish related.
They really take their time with each customer and will answer all your questions!
If you have pets, or just want to visit a pet store...This is your place!
PROS: Smart and knowledgeable staff
CONS: So busy, it is hard to get help quickly!
