You have to sit outside if this is your first time here, I promise the wait will be worth it! You have to make a reservation or you wont get in, it is one of the most popular places on the island. It is very high class and it shows in the foods and wines it presents. The staff was friendly and helpful when we went and made the experience all that more enjoyable! A MUST if you are in Kauai!

Whew, what a great spot for dinner. If you are visiting Kauai, eating here is a must. Book at least a few weeks in advance to nab a table at sunset. This is the best sunset view. And the food is delicious. Pricey but worth every penny. I highly recommend the macadamia nut mahi-mahi. This is a dinner you will not forget.

This is the third hotel that Chris Hemmeter built in Hawaii. The pool is built up of several pools built into the side of the sloping property. What makes this unique is that each pool is connected to all the others via a “river” which moves at about three miles per hour. Have fun traversing each pool, from the top down to the bottom, in the crystal clear water. Or enjoy a beautiful beach side sunset in one of the properties secluded hammocks or cabanas.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We had an ocean view room and loved hearing the waves when we woke up in the morning. The whole resort is incredible! From the restaurants to the pools to the luau, it was all such a wonderful experience! We're hoping to go back soon!

Puka dog isn't just a hotdog. I actually don't care for hotdogs, but puka dogs are great. They have their own special bun which they toast in the middle with a rod. They then add the hotdog with some tasty relish. I like the spicy one!! It's something that you need to try for yourself, you wont be dissapointed!

Ok, first of all, although this has the best food, there is no view. The restaurant itself is part of a mall in the Poipu area. However, even without a view, this is still a wonderful restaurant to go to. The food is amazing. The Poipu Sunset ( an alcoholic drink) is one of the best cocktails I have ever had...the perfect mix of alcohol, fruit, and sugars. The chocolate souffle is the best chocolate dish ever...but make sure you order as you get your meals because it takes 20 minutes to make!

The Kiahuna Plantation is a great place to stay on the island of Kauai. Depending on which one you get, it has a kitchen, family room, bathroom, and one to two bedrooms. Some are two stories complete with tv's, dishes, dressers, and decks. The beach is right down the walkway and the grounds are very pretty. The pool is right across the street at a tennis club and is even has a slide. I would highly recommend the Kiahuna Plantation!

Tidepools is such a beautiful restaurant! It's located in the Grand Hyatt and is surrounded by pools of koi fish. Since we were staying at this hotel, we dined here for dinner one night and as part of our hotel package, we had breakfast there every day. Each time we ate there, the food was fresh and the service was spectacular.
