Lovely place ! They have so many great things going on there. Educational series for kids, even for homeschoolers. Many trails you can do. I even took a basket weaving class there once years ago. Inside you can see a few live animals, turtles and such, and they have more educational things inside to see and a very nice gift shop. During the summer they have a flower festival and they also have several other events.

The Knoxville Zoo has recently undergone a major makeover. It has lots more exhibits, tons more animals, and it's just generally a good place to visit. The animals always look healthy and happy and don't look like they are about to die. They have camel rides which I love. The walkways are large which is a plus if you have children in strollers.

Badgett Field brings back the good old memories of baseball. This is a nice park with a small playground and walking track. The main attraction…the baseball fields. There are four fields ranging in size from tiny to large. They are well kept and clean. This is a nice place to play. The best part though is that this park is free.

This is one HUGE library! Not New York Huge! But its still Huge! Great Slections, Librarians are nice, very quiet! Great reading spot! Highly Recommended! Seats are all around so sitting down to thumb threw a book is no pronlem! Staff is very helpful and always there when needed! Customers are nu,mber 1 here not employees!

The Karns library is in just one word, OK. Very organized, selection is about normal, staff is average, nothing really to outstanding positive or negative! Very quiet place! Very rinky dink! Nothing really eye popping or attention drawing! Selection is not the best but not terrible either! Nothing real great about this library! Staff is very stuckup and not helpful!
