KMA is a great place to visit. They offer various exhibits throughout the year to keep things fresh and new so you never have an excuse not to visit. They offer workshops for children at different times to get them excited about art. They also open up their establishment for weddings and receptions. We considered this location when we were married. They have convenient free parking and are located next to the Candy Factory. An excellent end to a day at the Knoxville Museum of Art.

I visited here several years ago when there was a Warhol exhibit at the museum. It is very well maintained and they had some really nice exhibitions of up and coming artists. The architecture and layout are modern and the curator did an amazing job of putting the art together. I would recommend visiting the museum if you are in the area.

The Knoxville Museum Of Art is a fantastic way to spend a day. It has so many different works of art to look at and some of them are absolutely stunning. There is plenty of parking across from the street which is always a plus when you go downtown. I have been to KMA three times this year and I plan to go more especially when they have special exhibits.

The Knoxville Museum of Art hosts excellent events for young singles and couples. Both are regularly advertised in the Metropulse -- one Thursday night each month is SubUrban Thursday, which usually includes a DJ, martinis, and a great vibe to walk around, meet people, and enjoy the current exhibits. Likewise, one Friday each month they have an early-evening event with live music and food catered by a local restaurant.

The Knoxville Museum of Art at the World's Fair Park is the largest of it's kind in Knoxville. There are many cool and overlooked art galleries and spaces, but the KMA has established itself as the anchor of our artistic endeavors. Although recent years have brought high-end and historic works alike, the space seems to have gotten stale. The KMA could use some fresh energy. Local artists should be encouraged to participate in more KMA events.
