have stayed at the downtown Knoxville Hilton three times since Summer (all booked through an online service) and have always had an above-average room, comfortable and MORE than reasonably priced. The linens and comforters are clean and very attractive (all three rooms had a brown motiff) with an oversized bed, desk and enough cabinet space to furnish your home. Bathroom was also large, although water pressure was nil (but what hotel isn't). The parking was VERY inexpensive and valet service was available. (I was too cheap to opt for that!). Location is also great, just down the street from UTK. Once when I checked in I noticed an odd difference in manner when a "premium services" guest checked in and then when I did. They were nice, but very by the book with my check in. Check out was easy, and unlike a previous reviewer, my bill was always to the penny. Book online, get a GREAT price, and sleep with a great view of the skyline out your window.
