This place is the ultimate hole-in-the-wall place. It doesn't look like much on the outside. Parking is a chore. Once you get inside, though, the effort pays off.
The steaks are great. Thick. I love the way mine was seasoned. The thing I remember most is the homemade cheese spread. It's served in little crocks. You get all the cheese you want plus Club crackers. That's basically a meal in and of itself. If you visit Knoxville and you haven't hit Ye Olde, you're crazy.
Remember to plan ahead. The place doesn't seat a huge number of people. If you're trying to roll in there on a Friday night at 6 o'clock, you'd better be ready to wait ... a while.

I have only been to this place once. i will definitely be going back time and time again. The food is good country cookin'. The staff is very friendly (southern hospitality) and the environment is very relaxing and full of life at the same time due to all the people packed inside. And why wouldn't they be because we all love some good southern cookin'. Just make sure you know the hours as they are limited. But it is so worth the trip, the wait and the overall experience. Great for all ages and group types, i.e.-family, friends, couples etc.

This restaurant also had a low inspection rating, 60. We used to use the large room for large groups on sundays. We now go to Schezwaun Garden down the street. The food, service, and setting is much better.

Wok Hay is a nice new addition to Knoxville. I like the variety of choices. You can get any meal with shrimp, chicken, beef, veggies, etc. The portions are large enough to share. And the Lettuce Wraps are amazing. The food is made after you order and promptly delivered to your table. I agree that the food is very similar to PF Changs. But the experience is better in my opinion because it is cheaper and there is no long wait for a table. The only drawback is they really don't offer much for children. We have to take food for our toddler when we eat there.

Pulled up to drive thru on Sat Aug 15 rushing between appts to get family something to eat. Had school coupon book to see if I could use. Ordered Number 1 & number 3 with sweet potato fries. Got home to drop off & had two number 1s & regular fries. Had change balled up in pocket but no receit. I could have understood if there was a crowd, but I saw no car ahead of me and none immediately behind me.
