For all you yoga fans Yoga With Shanti is my favorite yoga center. It has a very relaxed mood that makes you feel free. I go here quite often and keep telling myself I need to go more. The only thing bad about this yoga area is that the prices seem a tad bit too high. However I have not priced other yoga centers.

I'm a beginner golfer and this course made me feel very comfortable. It's not too difficult - the fairways are wide enough on most holes (when they're not, I just skip it). It's well maintained and very cheap. When I went, it was a little too crowded for my taste (and I might add that it was only men), but it was good fun for not too much money.

Universal Instruments Corp is where I have been going for years to get stuff for my band. The selections is good, and the prices are also relatively fair. Of course you can find better prices by searching online stores, but it makes returns a lot easier to buy from a storefront. I would highly recommend them for music supplies.

Soccer and hockey in one place?!?! NO your eyes are not playing tricks on you. The Thunderplex has indoor soccer AND inline hockey. It is a wonderful place to learn to play either sport. They have a huge rink and have a very clean and welcoming environment. They are the place for soccer and hockey.

The massive renovation ended last year and the theater is up and running. Originally a movie theater, The Tennessee now hosts music, dance and other types of performances. My first look at the renovated space was to see Elvis Costello in early 2005. I was really impressed with the update and proud that Knoxville did not tear down this historic space. The Bijou may be next. Let's hope so. Wouldn't it be great to have choose between two exciting performances at these theater's on the same night?

Want to have some fun? If you are looking for a good clean way to have fun, hop into your car and take that short drive to Tennessee Valley Skating Center. They have a huge skating rink and are availible for all types of parties and celebrations. If you have kids bring them on down to the Tennessee Valley Skating Center you will be glad you did.

The Tennessee Theatre went through some massive renovations lately and you can definitely tell. It is absolutely stunning. It really takes you back to the turn of the century with the decorations and the thick carpet. The seats are soft and comfortable and there isn't a bad seat to be found.

If you like to bowl, than hop into your car and take a short drive to Starlite Bowling Lanes. They have a very clean family oriented environment. They also have wonderful food. I would suggest their chilli cheese fries, they are absolutely divine. They also do parties, so bring the whole family and get ready to have a good time!

I went here earlier this summer with a friend of mine. The golf courses aren't in the best shape but it's still a lot of fun. They have an easy course and a hard course and both have themes for each hole. The staff is really friendly and will let you pay after you play. I rode the go carts a long time ago and thought they were a lot of fun.
