I didnt have Insurance and so i was trying to fix my car as cheaply as possible and I found the parts at Knox Auto Parts and they had them off on the shelf.... Top notch facility!!

Bought a set of tires by phone for my son, a student at UT for very good "on-the-road" price. Three weeks later my son scraped a barrier in a construction zone leaving for home for the holidays. After having the truck towed to Free Service Tire, they correctly evaluated a damaged tie rod, cut tire, and brake pads that gotten down to metal and gouged rotors on the truck. Their work was completed in less than half a day, with a crosstown trip to the Cooper Tire warehouse to get a matching tire at no additional charge. Once repaired, I was given a phone update on the final findings and work done. Vehicle was safely made road-worthy for a very fair price for quality work. The service advisor, Ben, is very helpful, trustworthy, and reliable.

I cannot say enough postive things about Matlock Tire. The owners are wonderful and every person I have dealt with has been kind. The quality of work is top notch and they are honest! I have had other business' recommend work that I got a second opionion on there and have found out that it doesn't really need as much as recommended by another company. They are average price. But they always go the extra mile for customers. They also treat women the same as men.

After driving around on Scarystone tires for years, I found Fisher Tire here in Knoxville and never looked back. I use Michelin's but they carry a good selection of tires for cars and trucks. When you purchase from them you get free rotation and balance for the life of those tires. I never have to wait long for service and they will always run out and check your pressure if you're about to go on a long trip, for instance. I've always been impressed with this outfit. Competitive prices and they'll match competitors at times (but not wholesale warehouses).

These guys have taken care of my truck tires and some work on the truck for a while. They do good work and take care of me, being a disable single women. They have always done great work. My vehicle is usually cleaner then it comes in. The prices are good.

Well, firestone is a great place for tires. And at this location they were very friendly and curtious. Only problem was they would not take appointments for the current day. So I made one for an oil change for the next day and still had an hour wait until my car was serviced. So, for minor services I would probably go elsewhere. Great for tire services.

I purchased some very expensive 80,000 mile tires from them. After 40,000 miles a belt broke making it a miserable ride. They would not honor any warranty saying it was my suspension. They also told me my brake pads were bad (only 3 months since I had them replaced). Needless to say, both may suspension and brakes turned out to be just fine.
I think they'll lie cheat and steal to get as much money as they can.
Pros: None
Cons: Expensive and like to scam

I have attempted to get warranty repair on a couple of items on my recently purchased Nissan. I presume that Nissan gives their dealers incentives for them to keep the cost of warranty repairs down. East TN Nissan abuses their customers in order to maximize their incentive. I have two warranty problems. For a problem regarding the heat not remaining constant, they made up a ridiculous story about an air bubble in the coolant. Unfortunately, the weather was already turning warm so I won't be able to test this one for several months. For the other problem regarding my display unit malfunctioning, they play dumb and won't fix it. I have had to explain the problem to at least five different employees on two visits. I just keep getting passed from one employee to another. After wasting so much time waiting on each one and explaining, demonstrating, showing them the owner's manual, etc. I just couldn't wait since I have other appointments to which I must go. In summary, please take this into consideration when you are deciding where to buy a new car. Good luck.
