Dollywood has plenty of music, food and Dolly. You'll also find some great thrill rides. The park has a few roller coasters, including a pretty wild wooden one. Children and teens (and crazy fathers) will love the water area. It's like a multi-leveled fort equipped with squirt guns and water cannons. A county fair area has traditional rides like bumper cars and a tumbler.
Locals look forward to Dollywood's festivals. Everyone has a favorite. The first one is the International Festival during April and finishes with Christmas at Dollywood. The park always has a lot of music filling its three or four theaters. Most of the music is bluegrass, gospel or country. It's not all mainstream. If you're a Dolly Parton fan, you'll want to visit the museum. Even if you're not a fan, you'll be amazed at how long and how varied her career has been.
What this amusement park does better than most is food. It has lots of it. You may wait in line for an hour to ride one of the more popular rides, but there's enough food establishments that you won't have to wait on lunch. And it's all pretty good. (Well, it does have a few stands that remind you of carnival food.) Don't leave without a funnel cake.

Ober Gatlinburg is a lot of fun! You can get to it either by the Gatlinburg Skylift or by driving. Once you're up there, you can either snow ski, ice skate, or play games and eat. We went ice skating there on our last visit and had a blast. The skiing is pretty casual, so beginners won't feel intimidated. Have fun!

This place is great for fun and birthday parties. It is awesome to play and the effects are fantastic. I especially like the mirrors they added to create the illusion. However, the price is a tad bit high. It would be too much to go every weekend but it is fun just once in a while for special occasions.

I'm a beginner golfer and this course made me feel very comfortable. It's not too difficult - the fairways are wide enough on most holes (when they're not, I just skip it). It's well maintained and very cheap. When I went, it was a little too crowded for my taste (and I might add that it was only men), but it was good fun for not too much money.

It is basically and all-around fun center with go-carts, arcades, batting cages, food, etc. The prices are reasonable, but the worker was a little bit mean and didn't help very much.

Putt-putt is a pretty fun place to go to. It is a great deal, and it is perfect for birthday parties. Not only that, but the prices are low. They have arcades, mini golf, batting cages, and food to sell. When you play the games, you can win tickets that you can spend to buy things.
