We went there last night and had an incredible meal! The calamari appetizer was TENDER! All of the sushi we had tasted like they just caught it. The Toro, Maguri and Unagi were exceptional. Our waitress was very helpful when we had a couple questions. Great selection of sushi and sake!

Being fairly new to the area I have checked out pretty much all the hang outs in Kirkland and Hector's is by far the best. Many of the local bars have a dingy outdated appearance to them and look as though the only renovations they have gone through in the past 15 years are some new televisions.
Hectors however is a different story, the actual bar seems to be an antique that has been beautifully kept, the chairs are extremely comfortable and the entire atmosphere is modern mixed with a comfortable feel, not the trendy anemic minimalist bars that seem to be swelling in popularity. The service is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The only thing Hector's really lacks is a good draft beer selection as they only seem to have 4 beers on tap.

I recently moved to the Eastside and desperately wanted to find a new hang out. After visiting a few bars around Kirkland, I wandered into Tiki Joe's Wet Bar. It was like stepping into a beach bums paradise. The entire place is decorated with surf boards, colorful wall paintings, and wooden tiki gods. The bartender was tall and handsome, the drinks were thirst quenching, and 50 cent tacos! I was absolutely pleased with Tikis! I won't drink anywhere else Kirkland!
Pros: music, strong drinks, good looking staff!

I'm so sick of all you yuppies ripping on olive garden and any chain that you label "non authentic" Of course it's not authentic. Who cares... The obvious truth is, the majority likes the food they serve better than if it were truly authentic italian. It's good consistent food at a great price. I've been all over Italy, and would take olive garden before 90% of the places I've eaten at over there. If you're looking for a good meal at a great price, choose Olive garden. If you're one of those that cant distinguish between authentic and good food, go somewhere else and quit clogging up review boards with your negative comments.

Royal India, while having the best Indian food I've ever eaten, also has the best customer service I've received while eating out. The owner is generally the man up front handing out to-go orders with freebies. He always gives us one free menu item- rice pudding, samples of their food, etc.- when we take out. Their staff is friendly, and their food is delicious. I would (and do) recommend this to anyone seeking a delicious Indian restaurant.

I absolutely LOVE their facials and products! My new favorite product is the Dermavita C-20 Serum which was recommended to me by my esthetician, Brooke. It has a maximum strength formulation of 20% Vitamin C where as other Vitamin C products only contain 5%. I noticed after just one use that my skin was smoother, softer and glowing! I've been using it now for about a month and it has kept my skin looking fabulous and youthful. After speaking with Brooke about how happy I was with the results, she informed me that Vitamin C helps to stimulate collagen production which minimizes the appearance of lines and wrinkles, fights free radicals, increases skin repair rate, fights hyperpigmentation and improves cirulation! This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the Seattle area. We drive 20 minutes, past at least two other Chinese restaurants to get to it. The same friendly staff have been serving us delicious food for nearly 15 years! The lunch buffet has only about ten selections so the food turns over rapidly and is always fresh and hot.
Pros: great food, excellent service, lunch buffet
Cons: cigarette odor from bar still lingers a bit in the lobby
