I drive 45 minutes to get to Evergreen in Kirkland, but it is worth it to get the best care possible for my dogs. They are skilled, very knowledgeable and truly care.
[The person who brought in the loose dog, and complained they wouldn't keep it, failed to mention that legally a vet cannot just keep a dog that some stranger brings in.]
Their charges are reasonable and (unlike clinics that have sold out to big corporations), they don't try to sell you extra tests and services you don't really need. EBL

My dog Christie has been cared for by Dr. Iverson for 8 years. He is outstanding -- the most knowledgeable vet I've ever encountered. Christie is an older dog, and things are going wrong -- he is always able to figure out her symptoms and provide therapies that help her. He goes far beyond the call of duty and really cares about animals being healthy and leading happy, fulfilled, pain-free lives. He's helped Christie with her regular maintenance items and also major issues that go far beyond shots and itching skin. He is compassionate, informed with current animal medicine knowledge, and runs a great clinic with state of the art equipment. He is a surgeon you can trust to do the job right. Dr. Iverson is truly one-of-a-kind, and I am a harsh judge. I used to live in Kirkland and learned about him through a friend. I have since moved to Magnolia, and still insist on making the drive to gain the benefit of this fantastic "servant for our pets." There is a truly a special place in Heaven for this man to reward him for his selfless devotion to our loved pets. You will not find better care for your pet anywhere - I would literally stake my life on it, that's how strong I know this to be true. Debbie M.

We have been taking our many, long lived cats and dogs here since the 70s. They are caring and compassionate. They know what they are doing and work closely with the owner to provide the best possible care. We live in North bend and wouldn't take our pets anywhere else. Their prices are very reasonable and I always feel I get a break!

We first went to Evergreen on the recommendation of a friend and have not been disappointed. We have been bringing our dog to Evergreen since he was a puppy 5 years ago and have found the Vets and staff to be very Professional, compassionate and caring. Our dog has a congenital kidney problem and the Staff at Evergreen has helped keep our dog happy and healthy for 5 years. Our dog actually looks forward to his visits to Evergreen (wagging tails don’t lie). I would recommend this facility to everyone without any reservations.

I take my dog to this vet, and have total piece of mind that she is being cared for by the excellent veterinary doctors and staff. I have a doberman, and called doberman organizations, including rescue, in the area to see who they recommended, and they recommended Dr. Wilcock at Evergreen. They are right -- I am completely happy with Evergreen Veterinary.
My vet is extremely knowledgeable, caring and gentle. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean and cheery.
Thumbs up (paws up, too!) on Evergreen Veterinary Hospital.

I am appalled at the ethics of this place. They say they care about all animals, but apparently not the one I saved and brought to be held for a few hours. I rescued an adorable dog from the middle of a busy street. He had tags and so I brought him to this nearby vet hoping they could hold him for a few hours until his family picked him up. They refused, and suggested I just let him go!! I was shocked! When I asked for the vet's card to write a comlaint letter I received rude comments from both the vet and the receptionist. I can not believe that a place committed to helping animals would treat a dog and a customer like this.

I've taken both my dog & my cat to Evergreen for about 2-3 years now, and I've been very impressed.
I've never known them to try to sell me anything. They're good about sending reminders in the mail when the pets are due for shots, etc., and they're always friendly and helpful. They've even helped me over the phone a couple of times. (Please see my other review if you want details...)
The biggest downside for you would be that it might be a bit tough to get from Edmonds to Kirkalnd.

Although it's a bit of a drive from Everett to Kirkland, I've always taken both my dog and cat to Evergreen on the very strong recommendation of the dog's breeder. She says that she never takes her dogs anywhere else!
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I've been especially grateful for their willingness to answer non-emergency questions over the phone. As a new puppy parent, I was a bit inclined to worry. I've called Evergreen twice trying to determine if I needed to bring the dog in (once he had eaten something off the ground before I spotted him & was vomiting, and once something had gotten under his collar and irritated his skin). Both times, they gave me calm practical advice, and I didn't have to take the dog to their office.
