If you want to feel like a million and LOOK like a million, go to this salon. I'm new to the area and not only did they squeeze me in on my first appointment when I needed it the most, but I came out with a fantastic haircut and style from Riley Carolan. She's excellent and knew how to deal with my frizzy/temperamental hair. How often do you go home and put your head under the faucet so you can style your hair yourself? Not here! My hair has looked great everytime I've walked out the door. I've noticed other people in the salon look really great, too. Prices are very reasonable. This is a salon that cares about your business with a follow up call to see how the service was and if I was happy...the sign of a business that wants to please. Highly recommended! I have experienced many salons and stylists in my 38 years and Theresa is by far the most talented. She is friendly, professional and uber skilled in current styles and trends. I always get an amazing cut that grows out gracefully until my next appointment. Teresa is also extremely honest... some might even say so honest that it's a dis-service to her own income. I asked about highlights (Teresa is aware of my current budget situation) ... and instead of encouraging me to spend more money in her salon, she discouraged me from getting them because she knew the upkeep of these highlights would be costly and not in my budget currently. I thought this was extremely thoughtful. That honesty, thoughtfulness and her amazing skill will keep me a loyal customer for years to come. Thanks Teresa!! The grass is greener syndrome? After seeing Teresa I have changed my ways! She starts by giving such a thorough consultation, I could have closed my eyes for the rest of the appointment...My hair was safe in her hands. Her detail, and concern that I was getting what I asked for and what had been talked about was un-equaled by anyone I had seen before! Keep the costs the same, the owner is a great stylist but her trim and cut are two different things. We have been to her a couple of times and she does a wonderful job but what she says the cost is going to be is not what she tells you in person. We can afford anyone in town, but to get a cost after she has already done this hair before and to charge more based on a ten minute trim, and then charge for a cut after it was discussed is a little bit crummy. Please make sure you know ahead of time exactly what your in for.....don't get me wrong she is really good just make sure you get the $ clear ahead of time.....oh and she tried to refer us to a "Cheaper Stylist"....that ain't it girl! Pros: Know's Hair Cons: Cost is up in the hair!

I visited Studio 150 in March because I needed a new salon after moving to Kirkland from California. I chose Teresa after all the rave reviews on City Search, particularly how she works with your face shape, and I have a very narrow face and wavy hair. I got a partial foil + color and I loved the color and found her to be very professional. We consulted on the cut and styling and I had her style it (poker) straight - something very new. I went home and my husband did not like it at all. The next day when I styled it my "normal" way the cut was good and I was okay with it. Although I think Teresa is a good stylist I was very surprised when I went to pay and the tab was $240! OMG! (Even more so when she told me she only did a partial foil and not a full foil) I'm used to paying $140-$160 for my cut/color. As I am in the salon every 6-8 weeks for a color/cut I feel the price is too expensive and will not be going back. I'm sure there are just as many other great salons out there without the high ticket price. Pros: good haircut Cons: too expensive

I am just getting ready to go to my 3rd appointment with the owner of the salon--Theresa!! She is awesome and very professional. I have been to many stylists in my day, and Theresa is the only one who has known just how to work with curly hair and let it be curly. Most stylists want to try to "work" their "magic " on it which usually means straightening, and using alot of product on it. So refreshing to have a stylist go with what the good Lord gave me. Thanks again!!! Pros: Knows how to work with curly hair!!!! Cons: No cons------only PLUS'

I have known Teresa for over 20+ years and she has been coloring my hair for that long. My hair, which is black, always looks natural and shiny, never flat. Most of my friends/family don't even know that my hair has been colored for so long. I have followed Teresa from the Pine Lake Plateau, to Issaquah, and onto Kirkland. I now live in Anacortes and still make it a point to drive down to Kirkland, for the best color! Teresa and her team are professional and classy - with customer satisfaction as their goal.
