I've been going to Teresa for 16 years and have had nothing but great experiences. Her knowledge and skills allows for clients to receive a style that both flatters their features and exceeds their expectations. The other stylists in her salon are extremely well trained and you would be hard pressed to find another location where the owner is as concerned about the skills and progression of their stylists. Regardless of whom you see, the experience is guaranteed to be great. I highly recommend her salon for anything from a simple cut to the full package.

I have recently moved to Kirkland area ,and was desperetly looking for a new salon. I have tried few salons ,but no luck:-( And then I read some reviews on city search on Elle Salon & Boutique, and decided to give them a try. Well first of all I loved the set up of the salon it's very stylish and modern. And then I met Tanya ,a beatiful young lady that right away knew what I needed. I walked out of Elle salon very very happy, my new style is very easy maintance,and most important my man loved it:-) I highly recommend Elle salon!

when going into any store regarding an animal, a human being should know to who and whom they are talking to. 1. someone who is making 8.00 to 9.00 an hour and loves animals loads or would not be working there at all. these young people are putting themselves through school and trying hard to stick to an amibition of "should I stay in this career dealing with animals or not ?" this is not a place for folks to come in and react to people who might not know exactly how a bunny should be fed. BUT, these people at Denny's keep their animals well fed, spotless and i8n-tact medically. This is NOT a place where they spay.neuter. the animals are expensive. Why? to avoid folks who do not want an animal to come in and get one because it is cute cuddly when tiny, then throw it a way when they get bored. The cost makes them think and hopefully take care of the animal better. all animals are not MILL cats or puppies. they are mostly mutts and regular kittens from unknown regular tabbies and unknown marked doggies who someone was not responsible enough to spay or neuter. the cost of 250.00 for a cat ensures the cost of over head and feed for the existing felines turtles lizards maggots and assorted bugs and YES, HUGE cock roaches. Dennys is an excellent business and one that should be here in washington state another 100 years or more. High 5 plus. get a book and research an animal please before you purchase. thanks ~s~

I had despaired of ever finding a craftsman who could fix an assortment of leather items --- shoes, boots, slippers.
Then I wandered into "Totem Lake Shoe Repair" up by the Country Buffet.....he & they did a great job at an AFFORDABLE price, which is really a testament to great work. Then I was so upset when that lease ended, and he was gone!!
Fortunately he's back in the Totem Lake mini-mall next to the new VALUE VILLAGE.

Having went to 5 different bridal shops, The Bridal Garden was, by far, the friendliest and most helpful. Everything from my gown and veil to the bridesmaid dresses!! No pushy salespeople and they were very informative. I HIGHLY recommend this bridal shop to anyone searching for their perfect wedding gown!

The Parkplace Book Company is an undiscovered gem for those of us living on the east side. Located in the Parkplace Shopping Center in Kirkland, the store is well stocked with an excellent selection of fiction, non-fiction and children's books. It is in the process of expanding, and promises to be even better! I would urge all eastsiders to support their independent book dealers.

Our families favorite spot for cakes is easily Hoffman's in Kirkland. Every one I've tried (white, chocolate, etc.) has been delicious - moist, dense and with amazing frosting. It will certainly cost you more than Costco, but it's well worth it for a special occasion.
The store itself serves sandwiches for lunch, and has a wide array of pastries to choose from. I haven't sampled the pastries, but the lunch I had there with my mother-in-law and my 18 month old daughter was quite tasty.
