I went here for an early bird dinner w/ some colleagues during the 30-for-30 event. The food was pretty good but not good enough I think to warrant the full non promo prices. Prefer the casual Beach Cafe downstairs more. Was disappointed by how long it took them to seat us despite us arriving at 5:30pm to a near-empty restaurant. For such a classy restaurant, I expected more organization. I almost felt like our arrival created an inconvenience to them. I would probably not go back.

Yarrow Bay Grill has got a fantastic view into Lake Washington. Apparently, boats even dock out in front of the restaurant and come inside for a drink downstairs or a meal upstairs at the grill. The restaurant did feel a bit crusty, and it never quite filled up on the Wednesday night that we were there.
Our service was impeccable, and of course we enjoyed the views into the lake. I expected gastronomic grandeur based on the setting, service, menu (and prices). I had the hazelnut crusted lamb rack with a pomegranate demi and my wife ordered the Thai seafood stew. The lamb rack was very thick and overall quite good, but it just didn't stand out among the better lamb racks I've had. The same could be said for the seafood stew.
The blackberry lime meringue that I had for dessert was in fact extraordinarily good.

The Yarrow Bay Grill is located in a very nice setting in Kirkland. The menu is nice, although there is nothing terribly unique about it. It is just a typical nice restaurant. This can be a great place to go on a date or for a business meeting. The service is always friendly and efficient, and the food is consistently good. You can't go wrong with this place.

Located in Carillon Point this is a nice place to drop by for a casual meal. You can park in the underground parking garage and get validated on the way out, or you can float on in on a boat and moore in one of the many free public parking slips.
The food is tasty and fresh, I haven't had any bad experiences yet. I had some grilled fish and it tasted great! There's a bunch of other items on the menu, but unforunately I haven't had the opportunity to dine there in a while.

When I first moved to Seattle this was the first restaurant I went to in the area. Since then I have been to many other Pan-Asian restaurants, and this is by far the best! The views are absolutely amazing and the food is presented beautifully. I would definitely recommend this place for business lunches or romantic dinners. This is definitely not a family oriented atmosphere but one for couples or business meetings.

My husband and I enjoy going to Kirkland and the Beach Cafe at Yarrow Bay Grill. Downstairs from the more expensive restaurant, the Beach Cafe overlooks Lake Washington and is next to the Kirkland marina. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice, because it can get quite breezy off the lake, but the restaurant is very bright and warm, with big windows. If you want a nice sampling, I recommend the Trio Plate--it's an appetizer that can serve as an entire meal, with crab cakes, miso chicken skewers, and ahi tuna.
Beach Cafe also participates in the 25 for $25, where they offer a 3 course meal for $25. Looking at the menu, seems like they may have made this a permanent option. Service is usually pretty good, and there's a parking garage close by--if you're there after 6 or 7, you don't need to pay for parking.

Located on the beautiful waterfront of Carillon Point, the Yarrow Bay Grill makes for a great date restaurant or business deal location. You can watch the Argosy Cruise ships sail away from the huge bay windows, and see the sun set over Seattle. The service is exceptional and attentive to your every whim. The food is delicious and beautifully served. They are classified as a “Pan-Asian” cuisine, but we have found their fish dishes to be divine. The portions are what you would expect in a nice restaurant, so there is room for any of their fabulous desserts. They are only open for dinner, and you should definitely make reservations. Request a window table if you are looking for the romantic atmosphere. They also have a full bar. Parking is by valet. Afterwards, take a stroll along the marina to work off your dinner before heading back to your car.
