I had despaired of ever finding a craftsman who could fix an assortment of leather items --- shoes, boots, slippers.
Then I wandered into "Totem Lake Shoe Repair" up by the Country Buffet.....he & they did a great job at an AFFORDABLE price, which is really a testament to great work. Then I was so upset when that lease ended, and he was gone!!
Fortunately he's back in the Totem Lake mini-mall next to the new VALUE VILLAGE.

I have searched for years to find this quality and excellence. I found this location and stylist through a friend about a year ago. I drive over 50 miles from the South Puget Sound area to see Danielle. She carries an creativity, excellence and expertise that I have not found for years at any level. She quickly assesses your style and what may look better, but with your needs in mind. When she cuts my hair, it seems to find it's own place without much styling and the cuts grow out so evenly. She has colored my hair each time, and is covering my gray hair as well as highlighting. I receive constant compliments on my hair and how much it has added a youthful appearance to my face. I would drive to Eastern Washington for this stylist and salon. I have noticed that the other stylist carry the same excellence as Danielle. The atmosphere is classy and comfortable. The decor and the hospitality is of the highest caliber. You will never be disappointed by this stylist and this salon. They are truly "amazing".
Pros: Quality, creativity, excellence, atmosphere and excellence. Parking and shopping

These fine folks have been taking care of my cat, my little buddy, since he was eight weeks old. He's almost five now and just became ill and in need of very serious care. They saved his life. No flinching, no thinking, they just saved him.
I couldn't be happier with the staff at Evergreen nor recommend them highly enough. They are truly wonderful.

A very small dry cleaners, but they can run with the bigger guys any day. The staff is helpful, and checks over the garments as you turn them in. They can do same day/next day services if needed for an extra charge.I have never had a problem with the quality of the services performed. They also perform alterations on-site (although a bit pricey). The prices are pretty reasonable and seem to be average for Kirkland area.

Doing a steady stream of business along 85th street, I have found Best Cleaner’s to be one of the better cleaners in Kirkland. They are quick and can usually accommodate your request for turn around time if you need it quickly. I have never had a problem with bad pleats or ironing. The also offer alteration services which although expensive, were done with great skill. The staff is friendly and easy to understand. The prices are average in Kirkland for dry cleaning services.

Or at least this is the way it always seems to me. Everytime I go into Birthday Express I find something wonderful. Last time, they had costumes on sale and these weren't cheapo expensive costumes, these were quality expensive costumes on a sale that made me spend way more than I intended. Gorgeous stuff! I have 5 little girls who were thrilled to death with the fairy costumes and still like to dig them out years later.
I have designed many parties using Birthday Express's interesting mix of themes, craft kits and party favors and it has always been a hit.
You will probably spend more on decorations than anything else because everything is pretty reasonably priced. I love this place:)
