Wonderful, quaint spa in the Kirkland/Juanita area. The triple treat package is a great way to "try" the spa out to see if it fits your style and comfort. The staff is knowledgable, kind and professional. I get so many compliments on my skin...I've had microderm abrasion, fotofacials and botox and my skin looks and feels fantastic. I highly recommend this spa to anyone who desires a little pampering and a new, fresh glow.
Pros: Great staff, fun location, easy access
Cons: Barking dogs next door

I have been coming here since 2004. Used to have back and neck pain from software development work. The adjustments made me feel so much better. My back feels so relaxed! Even my sleep quality has improved. Heartily endorse Dr. Jeremy Meadows as among the best chiropractors around.
Pros: Excellent chiropractic adjustments
Cons: Limited hours, 80% Microsoft insurance coverage

I first met Dr. Neiman in October 2003 when my then 16 year old son became seriously ill. Referred by our PCP, Dr. Neiman saw him at 7:30am the next day, getting him in as there were not any new patient appointments available for over a month. My son was diagnosed with SLE & Lupus Nephritis and Dr. Neiman has managed his care through numerous rounds of Chemo, and now that he is in remission he is monitored on a regular basis.
Last year I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, becoming Dr. Neiman's patient myself. Dr. Neiman is the most caring, thoughtful and thorough physician ever. My son and I are very happy with Dr. Neiman and highly recommends him. His staff should be mentioned as well as they are all wonderful and caring. Go team Neiman!

I drive 45 minutes to get to Evergreen in Kirkland, but it is worth it to get the best care possible for my dogs. They are skilled, very knowledgeable and truly care.
[The person who brought in the loose dog, and complained they wouldn't keep it, failed to mention that legally a vet cannot just keep a dog that some stranger brings in.]
Their charges are reasonable and (unlike clinics that have sold out to big corporations), they don't try to sell you extra tests and services you don't really need. EBL

I moved to Kirkland and needed a new, convenient Chiropractor because I was going all the time and couldn't keep driving to Bellevue for my previous guy. The Massage Therapist I'd been seeing recommended Dr. Karen Shepard at Northwest Chiropractic. Right away, she began weaning me off of the too-frequent visits and over-adjustment done by my previous chiropractors. From the beginning, she urged me to see if I could wait just a little while longer between each visit. She explained my tissues were stretched and weakened from over adjustment - which was why my neck & back kept chronically going "out." Within a few months, with her strengthening exercises and moral support, PLUS the dietary changes recommended for lowering systemic inflammation by my awesome naturopath (Dr. Sheila Dunn-Merritt in Bellevue), I now only go about 2-3 times per year! (Unless something unusual comes up - like having to sit a long time in really un-supportive chairs at a conference...).
Dr. Shepard is caring, supportive, a great listener, and has really changed my life with her gentle, responsible, wellness oriented care. When she hasn't been available, I've also seen Dr. Tim Clanton, and he's AMAZING, too!
You will be SO glad you found this clinic - they want you to get BETTER and tell all your friends, instead of keeping you dependent on chronic care! They DON'T want to suck you into an endless, money-draining, physically dis-empowering spiral of increasing visits and costs - like most of the other chiropractors I saw before finding Dr. Shepard.
If you want to get BETTER, go see Dr. Shepard.

Good: I had a great experience at Puget Sound Birth Center.
I had Heika and Traci as my midwives. Andrea was a practicing student. They were wonderful.
I originally went to see an OB. I started reading about natural birth and decided I wanted to go more natural, and requested a midwife at the hospital. Each time I went in for an appt, I'd see a different midwife, and it was frustrating not seeing the same person. I calculated, that by the time I'd be almost due, I'd see each of their midwives 2-3 times....

This moderate sized clinic has really modern computer systems supporting my prescriptions and records. My doctor even printed out my office visit note at the end of my visit to send me to a specialist, and faxed my prescriptions to my drugstore. They're ahead of the curve!

This clinic is small and busy so you have to wait a long time if there is a delivery and your doctor gets behind, but the doctors and staff are nice and really knowledgable. Don't schedule dates if the docs are on-call to avoid waiting a long time. Otherwise it's really fast. The time you wait is worth it. They have a lab inside which is good so you can get everything done in one trip. They also speak other languages! It's in Evergreen which is a newly updated facility.
Pros: Patient Care, Knowledgable Staff
Cons: Sometime you wait awhile (worth it)

I had stapendectomies on both ears in 1968 & 1969 in West Seattle Hospital with Dr. Jerry Dragovich. I have tried a few audiologists in the general Seattle area since then.
I tried my second hearing aid from Evergreen Speech & Hearing & have gone back to them every since for number three & number four & am about to purchase my fifth aid from them next month. The staff is unusually kind, friendly, courteous, & make one feel quite comfortable. I will only go to them for my audiology issues - in my experience, all the staff there are simply the best. Trish, Ph.D., is unparalleled in expertise, kindness, generosity, & servicing my aids.
