This is the best place on the east side to get a Gyro. Authentic flat-bread and fresh ingredients. Nice and friendly staff. They only accept cash. So come hungry because the food is good.

Having been to Greece and eating at multiple restaurants there, I know Santorinis is more than legit. I remember sitting at a table in Greece at one of the restaurants and thinking of how badly I wanted to have a gyro from Santorini's. Santorini's has perfected the art of Greek cooking, and the owner who has been there every time I have ever gone in, embodies Greek hospitality. Its a great place to eat. The gyros are filling, large, inexpensive, and the meat they use is VERY flavorful. They can be a little messy if you dont leave the wrapper somewhat in tact, but they also offer gyro plates that have a large portions so you can create your own or eat with a fork if you like. I live 45 minutes away now, and will still drive there just to have the great fare. This is a must try restaurant.
Pros: Great price, large portions, friendly and very fast service
Cons: VERY small store that gets crowded and cramped midday.

Don't know how I have missed this little gem for all these years! Santorini's has a limited menu of gyros, salads and plates. Tried the Souvlaki salad today and was rewarded with a terrific Greek salad and a skewer of flavor filled beef! The salad was huge, all ingredients the freshest possible and the feta cheese delicious. Good prices, wonderful service...
Pros: Flavorful food, Friendly Service, Inexpensive

I've never had a bad meal at Santorini. The food is always great, and the service is always fantastic. Whenever I stop in, I grab a mountainous gyro plate with extra tzatziki sauce. I'm a card carrying meat eater, but that greek side salad totally dissapears before I start in on the gyros. That's not a reflection on their gyros, it's just that their salads are *that* good.
Top off wonderful food with their excellent, friendly service, and you have a great restaurant.
Pros: Gyro plate, Their tzatsiki sauce, Friendly service

The gyro is definitely the best I've ever tasted. There are other excellent choices as well, such as the gyro plate, chicken/beef souvlaki plates and sandwiches, and lots of appetizers. The owner Stavros and his wife Elsa are super friendly and I try to go there at least twice a week, for lunch or dinner. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

If you like gyros, you'll LOVE this place. If don't like gyros, you'll still love this place. Everything on the menu is great! Make sure you try the 'gyro plate', it like straight lamb. The only bad thing, if any, is the family closes up and goes to Greece for Christmas until about mid Jan., and the wait for their return is just hell!! Your best bet is to stock up and freeze a couple of gryos.
