Faced with a smoky chimney and page upon page of me-too yellow pages listings, I did what I often do: I looked online for consumer recommendations. In the process I stumbled across Steve Boggeman at Premier Masonry. Not many masonry contractors have an email address, much less actually respond by email. But Steve's wife mailed back quickly to set up an appointment. Steve showed up as promised, came up with a quick (and inexpensive) solution, and came back later that week to do the work. All for less than $100. The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is that my project was pretty small, so I didn't have a chance to really put them through their paces. But if you need some masonry work done and don't know where to start, I'd suggest you give Premier Masonry a call.
