Came in on a Sunday afternoon and from the start the customer service was TERRIBLE. We sat down within 10 minutes which was good however our waiter provided terrible service. He took our order, no greeting whatsoever. We waited over an hour before our food came out and in the meantime those seated after us, had been served and left before our food even came out. Our waiter not once checked on us to see how everything was or if we needed anything. When we asked why our order was taking so long his response was a sarcastic "I'm sorry". Wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.
Pros: Huge portions
Cons: Terrible service

My family and I went there for a late Sunday morning breakfast. We walked in and were standing there for at least five minutes without even a hello from any employees, even though the hostess stared at me at least three times. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt even though there was no one waiting. But then to my complete disbelief a couple walked in and the hostess said "Table For Two?" I got up to give her a piece of my mind but was stopped by my finance asking for the manager. Then the cashier said " Would you like to be put on the waiting list?" Then the "Manager" just stood there and stared at us like we were stupid as we explained the situation. She then did nothing. No offers for a discount or a free meal or even an apology. A horrible experience!
Pros: good size portions
Cons: horrible customer ser

This little cafe, locally owned is a great place for a good meal. The restaurant itself doesn't have much to boast in the way of looks, but that's not why the regulars come to this little cafe. The menu is its main attraction, especially for breakfast. I have driven by on weekend morning and seen large crowds of people waiting outside to dine here. The portions are large, so come here if you want to eat a ral meal!

My favorite thing about Brown Bag is that they prepare the salad as it is ordered. Meaning, they chop the vegetables just for your plate! Very fresh!!

This morning marked my first visit to the Brown Bag Cafe in Redmond, WA. I ordered the Apple Cinnamon sausage breakfast and it was wonderful. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and again two thumbs up. We had great service, nice enviornment, but mostly the food was up among the best I have ever had. Only downfall, no parking. But the walk from your car to the front door, well worth it!

The Brown Bag Cafe has perhaps the
best sandwiches in all of Seattle. They
have generous portions, made on the
spot. Its like bringing a home made
lunch but better. My favorite is turkey
and avocado.

Okay food but not worth the wait - at least for Sunday brunch. We've been there twice Sunday morning and left exasperated by the delay and chaos. And the overworked servers don't make u for it, either. Food's not bad and the portions are huge. Try a time other than Sunday brunch hours.
Pros: portions, food quality
Cons: no "kid" stuff, long wait, harried service
