I recently moved to the Eastside and desperately wanted to find a new hang out. After visiting a few bars around Kirkland, I wandered into Tiki Joe's Wet Bar. It was like stepping into a beach bums paradise. The entire place is decorated with surf boards, colorful wall paintings, and wooden tiki gods. The bartender was tall and handsome, the drinks were thirst quenching, and 50 cent tacos! I was absolutely pleased with Tikis! I won't drink anywhere else Kirkland! The bouncers are completely unprofessional! I am seriously outraged by their actions. I witnessed one of the bouncers (big guy with a long beard) phsyically harm someone outside of the bar and continued to push him untill he fell on the ground. This behaviour is absolutely ridiculous and he should atleast be fired, if not put in jail for physically harming someone who just had too many drinks. I will never step foot in that bar again and I will make sure that no one that I know does untill these bouncers are reprimanded for their outrageous actions. The bottom line is, no employee should EVER PHYSICALLY HARM ANYONE regardless of any situation.

This is what I was looking for...a nightlife scene without the nightlife drama. Great drinks, hot bartenders, beautiful crowd and no bs. Seriously am impressed with the Kirkland scene...actually this is the only place worth going in Kirkland and can't believe I didn't find it sooner. It's my new place to go though, seriously check it out if you are down with the urban suburban scene. Music ruled...everything from paul wall to ac/dc. Really struck a fancy with me and am now a consistant regular of the place. Cheers Tiki' crew...You're my new best friends! Pros: strong cocktails, hot bods, no cover charge Cons: didnt know it existed
