Just came back from a weekend of riding out in Killington. It's kind of warm but there were plenty of trails to choose from and the conditions were pretty good. This time of year, you can't ask for more. It's slushy in some places but at the top, you don't even notice the difference if you went during the dead of winter. All the different peaks allow for different levels of skiing/riding and there are loooooooong wide trails so you can come down and enjoy the nice ride. It's one of the best resorts for the facilities and mountain terrain but also for the great restaurants nearby and nightlife. We had an awesome time and will definitely go back again next year.

Killington is a great place for all levels of skier/rider. If your learning they have a huge learning area and begginer mountain. They have a nice variety of terrain. If you are more advanced they have some good challenging stuff over on Bear mountiain. They even have some back country stuff but you really need to know where to look. The best thing about Killington is because its so big you can get away from the crowds when it starts getting crowded. There are plenty of places to park besides the Main K1 lodge area where you can ski down to get a lift, try not to park at K1 it gets REALLY crowded. See more info at www.KillingtonNews.com

I am a beginner skier and I love skiing at Killington Ski Area. They offer great lessons for all levels and have great instructors. The reason I like the ski area so much is because there are so many mountains and trails that it is easy for a beginner or an expert to find a trail for them. They have all different level trails and chairs so that a beginner does not get themself killed and a new skier can still take the K-1 gondola to the top and ski down which is an awesome experience. The best skiing in North East US.
