Big Star has been in Killen for years. They have super sales each week beginning on Wednesday and running through the following Tuesday. Store is generally clean and well stocked. Customer service is nice. They even have baggers to take your bags to the car! Now when was the last time that you got that for FREE?! Other than sale prices, prices are a little higher than their competitors but you do have to drive another 5 miles or so.
Meat is excellent - cut on site.
Store is small and easy to get in and out in a hurry.

As the other review said it is very small inside the Killen Diner. There is no non smoking area! It is not as bad as it seems, though. The staff is very friendly and we have never waited long for our food.It is just good old country cooking. Be prepared to pay by check or cash. She doesn't take credit cards!

This McDonalds is as good as I've eaten at. The food is freshly prepared, service is generally friendly and inside is clean. Adjacent to this McDonald's is a convenience store with gas pumps too. I'd rate this one as great!!

I have visited many Subway stores thru the years traveling from Michigan to Alabama. This particular store is clean - most of the time. Sandwiches are consistantly good. Subway is convientently located on Highway 72 east. Right now there is alot of construction going on so it's a bit hard to get to but don't let that detour you! If you must have a SUB - get it at Subway.
