Honolua Surf Co became my favorite store when I was in Hawaii and it still is now that I am back on the mainland. I love the fact that this is not a huge chain and I have never seen them outside of HI. They offer all sorts of surfer type clothing from tee shirts, sweats, and shorts to shirts and cute tops. They sell both mens and womens clothing. The prices are a little high as are most surfer clothing stores but I love their styles.

My wife and I have kayaking down along La Jolla and also in Mexico and we had the best time with these guys over in Maui. The real difference maker was the incredible guides they have. Really knowledgeable crew, great with our 2 kids...just really good fun in a nice small group. oh! We saw TONS of turtles too! The girls really loved that!!!

This is for the surf lessons outfit in Kihei across the street from Kalama park - Maui Wave Riders. Alden was a super friendly surf instructor and was able to teach our kids how to stand up on their first day! Next time we might even try stand up paddle boarding. It looks fun!

On a recent scuba trip we selected prodiver out of Kihei, Maui and it was a great choice. The pros: just a 15 minute boat ride to Molokini, a 6 person boat, a dive master that's knowledgeble but forgiving for divers that may scuba infrequently or need some handholding, they refer to themselves as a "valet dive boat" meaning they check and secure all your equipment making for a relaxing experience, and they are flexible with their itinerary based on the boats' interests and skill levels. All in all, I highly recommend this dive company for a great scuba day trip.

They also offer shore dives and boat dives for the experienced diver, and you won't find better diving than off Maui and Molokini. They also stock a good line of products related to snorkeling or scuba.

We rented snorkel gear and boogie boards on our vacation. They provided pretty good advice but were really pushy in trying to get us to rent the most expensive of the snorkel gear. Customer service was ok, but they made us feel like dumb tourists after talking to them. Later we did find out there were better daily deals on snorkel gear (around $1 a day) at other places. The equipment was in good condition and they had a drop off box for night time returns.
