I have been going to Tina for my nails, waxing & massages for years (by appointment). I always get wonderful compliments from friends and coworkers. Even when I requested a service (UV top coat) that the salon did not currently provide, in order to accommodate me, they learned how to do it. And Irma gives a wonderfully thorough pedicure. I have not yet tried the hair salon service. But, that will be next.
Pros: clean salon, courteous staff, ample parking

My first experience with ascend spa was very pleasant and most importantly very convienet with the lirr right there a long with parking. I decided to go with the paraffin wax medi and pedi which always works wonders on my skin. The tech was very sweet older lady very patient and caring about my wants and needs. I enjoyed my visit and plan to return very soon. Hopefully the next trip is as good as the first.
Pros: inexpensive, good quality products, and good customer servic
Cons: none that i can think of

Dani's pizza, in the sleepy New York City suburb of Kew Gardens, is not very convenient to get to for most people. However, it is worth the trip, even in the midst of a city known for its pizza. I dar you to order one slice and not feel compelled to buy another. This is pizza at its very best. The casual decor is right on the money and there are many kinds of beer you can buy to go with your slice. For best value, come on Wednesday when they lower the price on the slices to an inflation-busting $1.25.

I've been looking for a place like this for a while. Years ago, this location used to be a dinner, so I avoided the place for a couple of years. BIG MISTAKE. They have their own parking lot, friendly servers, adecuate prices and EXCELLENT food. We spent a very pleasent evening there, and we'll be back soon.

I never had anything else on the menu but on Tues and Sundays they sell their buffalo wings which are out of this world. I'm a wing feen soo I like to shop around for my taste buds. Been here many times, the sauce is spicy yet tangy it's yumy! def recommend it to all wing lovers!
On Tues and Sund wings are 20 cents, I heard it's this price if you sit at the bar but I never do I alwas get a table with friends and we pig out... still comes out very cheap including drinks.
Pros: Buffalo Wings!

I honestly think this is one of the best hidden treasures in Queens. It's off of Lefferts Blvd on 83rd ave so it can be easily missed. No matter when I go (which is not often enough) it is always a great dining experience - great atmosphere, amazing food, excellent drinks! It's right near the movie theater, seconds away from the LIRR and minutes away from Forest Hills. It's perfect for a date or a larger get together. The staff are always very accommodating. Really love this place.

Tiny place, great food. The owner is the waiter, cook, and sometimes delivery man! Owner makes the place very enjoyable with his conversation on slow nights. Great chicken tikka masala & garlic nan. Samosas are tasty and many other items are great as well.

TU Casa is a great place if you're in the mood for some real good spanish home cooking. It is no where near being mexican. They have a great array of dishes for all eaters. I can't say one bad thing about this place. Well except the chicken soup is cooked just like grandma's, it's got all of the chicken in there...LOL... i'm just spoiled and dont care for bones and such. I would highly recommend this place. o and order a pitcher of Sangria!
