I was a bit hesitant to go to this show but, it could have been the best excursion we actually went on. This was not just a show of strength and skill it was also full of comedy. I believe we went on 9/21/08. This show is wonderful!

Wonderful Barnaby's! On a cruise I happened upon this place while in port. I bought and had shipped home a number of great Xmas things... Reasonable prices, really nice people who help you so much and everything was nicely packed and arrived safely at my house. On my next cruise I looked high and low for Barnaby's. I could not remember the name or what town it was in. Just by chance I looked underneath one of the things I bought to see if there was a tag that would give the name of this place and there it was! NOW to find out what town it is in. KETCHIKAN! YAH!! I just found it, our cruise leaves Sept 4th and now I know I can find that place again. Last cruise I never found it and was really disappointed.

If you only get a chance to eat at one restaurant in Ketchikan, that restaurant should be Ocean View.
Ocean View is my favorite restaurant. Everything is good there, but I especially like the Italian food. The shrimp al greco is my favorite. The fajitas are excellent, too! The desserts are fantastic! I love the fried ice cream, and my daughter's favorite is the sopaipillas. My kids love to eat there. I like to take them early in the evening, before it gets crowded. The staff is very pleasent and the service is wonderful.
Pros: great food, reasonable prices, parking nearby
Cons: usually crowded

This hotel is great! The rooms are not large, but the decor is tasteful. The personnel was friendly, curtious and very helpful. The owners are on site and greet each customer as if they were a friend. Some of the rooms have featherbeds and down comforters.
Pros: cont. breakfast , wireless internet, feather beds
Cons: no elevator

We visited this store while in Ketchikan and found it to be nice, although we did not purchase anything here. They had jewelry, a lot of native art and other souviniers. The prices were in line with the other stores in town.
