I agree with Brendan O, with the "Do not go here if you are in a hurry". It's a slow pace to get everything you need and get checked out. The crew didn't seem to be bothered by the customers stacking up while they helped us with everything we needed to start my first attempt at brewing a pale ale.
I loved that they had the recipe clones right there at the counter and that they are willing to take the time to make sure you have everything you need and offered the card with their number if there were any questions while we brewed.
Great place, good selection, old school to the core.

I went here for the first time tonight. Do not go here if you are in a hurry - this is an old school shop run by people who love beer and want to talk about it. They have a decent selection; they were out of a couple of things in the recipe I was trying to put together but they were knowledgeable enough to quickly offer up reasonable substitutions. Very helpful, nice people, and a good, happy place. Just make sure you have a few extra minutes to deal with the temperamental scale, the manual checkout process, and the small talk; I think it's a good thing but others might not. Good prices, too, at least compared to the store I usually hit.

This is probably my favorite homebrew supply store that I've been to. They have such a vast inventory here - the place is like a little warehouse. They have rows of malted grains to choose from, lots of yeast varieties in the refrigerator, and when you ask for homebrewing advice they will give you such thorough answers that your head will spin trying to absorb everything they tell you!
