Yeah, it's probably not he best looking gym areound. It does need a little woork. But I've been a member there for a year, and I love it. I sometimes go to other Bally's with friends and it's just not the same. Here, the people that work there are friendly, helpful, entertaining, funny, and positive influences on your goals. I would say it's a very laid back gym. The instructors of the classes are energetic and friendly. The trainners don't hesitate to give advise, and the front desk is always friendy and joking.
I guess, for me, all the above makes up for a little chipped paint and not top of the line equipment. I still get just as good a workout, and I have fun!

The Personal Trainer I had was excellent. He cared very much not only about me but also about helping me get into shape. He worked me hard but it was well worth the cost. I think the facility could use some updated work in the Women's shower area. I would recommend this facility to a friend.

The downside is I came here from the Bellevue Bally's that had steam rooms in each great spacious locker room and was a pretty nice gym. In the month I have been going here I haven't loved it - the cardio machines are old and don't have fans on them (treadmills anyway) - there is one noisy fan over the whole treadmill area that only hits 1 1/2 of the treadmills. One or the 9 or 10 treadmill has been broken for over a week so far, and overall the cardio equipment is a bit outdated. The racquetball area is below the treadmills which results in a lot of noise and the occasional stray ball bouncing outside the racquetball area.
Although I have always found an open treadmill or elliptical, it is still pretty crowded. The women's locker room seems to perhaps be in the middle of being renovated, but it is cramped and not a fun place to be in. The weight area has older machines and they are not organized in a particularly sensible way. They have multiple machines for the same purpose, but not an even muscle distribution throughout the gym. Looking for machines for certain muscles I really need to build up (I'm a health professional too) that I had no problem finding in Bellevue, could only find machines that worked them as a secondary muscle group which was really disappointing.
The gym gets crowded evenings and after school when it;s filled up with high school sports team members getting extra fit, they sometimes seem to dump their bags in front of machines that they aren't using so nobody uses them because they look occupied. Also got to overhear some jocks talk about women as "thoroughbreds" which made me less interested in going there solo.
Not the worst place, and certainly not the best - I am looking for another gym to see if I can find something newer/less expensive. in the area.
Pros: enough parking
Cons: seems like you can walk right in without showing membership card, not enough sanitziers in cardio area
