As I remember, it was a somewhat quaint, nice family owned business that invited me to their store after I bought my home in 2002. I had since forgotten the name of the store but I remember getting complimentary bottles of wood oils and when I ran out of Prelude Orange Oil, a very effective product for wood cleaning and protection that I have been using since I had the house, I had to look into the Internet to find who sold it. Rockler always came up on my Google searches, directly and indirectly. However, it was priced at $11.99 plus shipping making it almost twice the $6.95 price label on the near empty bottle I had. Maybe that's a fair price for inflation after all these years. Anyway, I did another Google search, but this time looking for a wood furniture store on Pacific Hwy, in Kent, WA, as I did remember it having lots of unfinished wood furniture. ( I don't know why I never went back there as I did have a good time perusing its aisles and looking at all the need items it had.) Lo and behold, Allwood Furniture showed up. I called and left a message wondering if it was open on the 4th of July. Anyway, it's a wonderful store and if it is still inviting new homeowners, then that's still a great plus. Get some Prelude Orange Oil. It works really well and it lasts a long time.

I had first heard of Moore Floors through a recommendation from a friend that just had their hardwood floors refinished. He was very happy with their workmanship and professionalism and gave me their business card. I had received a few other bids first, but ended up going with Moore Floors Inc. to install the hardwood floors & stairs in our new home. I was immediately impressed with the gentleman that came out for the bid. He was professional, he answered all my questions (and there were many) and the bid was very reasonable. The crew worked very hard on our floors and they finished ahead of schedule so that we could get moved into our new home. Our floors are beautiful and we are proud to show them off. We have recommended Moore Floors Inc. to other friends and will continue to. I would highly recommend this company!

Sound Siding came in to replace my floors and paint the interior walls--a 2 week job. When problems were found with leaky windows and rotted wood, they also contracted to replace all my windows, our siding & insulation. The job was completed in less than 5 weeks. The crews were polite, conscientious about cleaning up after themselves before they left each day, and they completed even the tiniest details, i.e., putting blinds back up and for my privacy! They are great! Thanks, Sound Siding!

My family and I were excited to discover this little gem of a market in Kent. We live 15 mins. away in Covington and take every opportunity to stop by Carpinito's whenever we're passing through or in the area. They have wonderful seasonal vegetables and plants. The staff are friendly and eager to help and answer any questions. Yeah, I agree that parking can be improved.

Sound glass was able to make customer glass to fit doors on a china cabinet that my son made in woodshop! You know those doors weren't perfectly angled but Sound Glass made it work and it was very inexpensive! They also provided the tabs that should have been part of the door - to keep the glass in place. Nice people.
