The Smith Brothers have been around for many years.Their dairy products taste so much better than the dairy products you can buy in the store. They also carry eggs, yogurts, butter, cheese and some other convenience items like cookie doughs, Tully's coffee and even laundry soap! They will deliver to your house too which makes it really convenient. The prices are affordable too and the milk men are super nice.

This is the place to go if you want a big me at a great price. The food is also excellent. The chips and salsa before the meal are a great way to get the meal started. Then come the huge plates with all kinds of good stuff to eat. When you are stuffed and the bill comes, for 2 people you usually pay about $25 which is not bad at all. Plus you get leftovers for lunch the next day!

We have been frequenting Paolo's for years. It is a small family owned operation located next to the Golden Steer restaurant on the East Hill of Kent. When you walk in the smell of garlic permeates the room, jump starting your tastebuds and making your mouth water with anticipation. The dishes are to die for, Walnut Cream Ravoli, Seafood Fettucini, Steamed clams. Chicken and Beef dishes are available also. A nice wine list and lovely desserts as a topper. They have special occasion menus such as Valentines Day complete with music and Mother's Day menus any mother could love. Special Wine Dinner nights and Summer menus. Kids menu is available also. Prices are reasonable for a nice sit down resturant. Make sure you make reservations in advance. Word's out...this is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area.

I recently ate at Thai Basil at 25684 104th SE in Kent (just north of the Keg) and the food was great! I have a particular soft spot for Phad Thai noodles and their's was one of the best I've ever had.
I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Thai food.

More
I worked with Creative Cake Designs to help my friend in planning her wedding. They have open house cake tastings which gives you a real idea of what you would or wouldn't want. They had a huge variety of flavors to choose from at the tasting). The cakes all tasted homemade and they were really very light. The frosting also had a great flavor and wasn't too sugary as a lot of wedding cakes tend to be. The staff was extremely responsive and returned my calls very promptly when I left a message. Their prices are reasonable, especially for the area. The only complaint I would have is that the layers are so large that it would have been nice to have a little more filling in between them for some additional flavor. (This is because the filings were incredible). I highly recommend this bakery.

This is probably the best coffee I have ever had, in Seattle or elsewhere. I am also a fan of Starbucks, but Cutters Point coffee is better. It’s got better flavor—truly excellent coffee, especially if you’re a real coffee fan.
The atmosphere of the Covington location is awesome. It’s snug, but not tight, so that it always feels homey and warm. There’s a fireplace, and it’s decorated nicely. Especially around Christmas, it’s a wonderful place to go on early, chilly mornings for the best coffee around, and great treats made from scratch, too!
