I visited this restaurant against my better judgement. My sister and brother in law went, and for two of them it cost $44 for dim sum. For TWO people. But I wanted dim sum and it is right by my house. Three of us went and were sat in a corner. There was ONE steam cart for the entire place which came by my table TWO times in the hour we were there. It was like we were being purposely avoided. We had to ask for more tea, and when it arrived it was not our original pot. No, it was an OLD COLD pot of tea. This means it could only have come off the dirty dish area or something like that.
We ordered 9 dishes of dim sum, only ONE of which was "special order" and should have been about $5. Well our bill came out to $55. for three people, for dim sum!! I was so angry. We were way overcharged. For 9 dishes, if all of them were "special order" it would have come to about $50. Small and large dishes are like $3 or $4, and special orders are like $5. So how the F did the bill come to $55?!!
This place sucks, the people that work there suck and are rude. I truly felt that our poor treatment had something to do with being a group of white people. There attitude towards us showed their disapproval of us being in their overpriced joint.
AVOID THIS PLACE. Go to Joy Palace in Seattle instead, its far better.
Pros: Okay food
Cons: rude staff, long wait, one steam cart, EXPENSIVE, racist?

I wanted to find another place to have Dim Sum since I only know those in Seattle. It is a bit far to drive from where I live in Puyallup. So we went. The initial service was really quick. Food started to come out. After may be about 6 to 8 different dishes, we started to see a lot of repeats. They don't usually serve all their selections, especially those ala cart orders early. So if you like verities, be there about regular lunch or dinner time. Yes it might be crowded but that is how it goes.
The quality of food is definitely there. We ordered a lot of things made of prawns and pork. They are very close to the authentic dishes.
Food: Good. Delicious and fresh. Just not that many selections depending on the time of day.
Service: Moderate (they were very slow in filling our glass with water and replacing our tea ? there were many people just standing around)
Speed: Good. However, many items came out very slow and at the end of our dinning.
Price: Moderate. Ranging from $3+ and up. So it stacked up fast. Better total cost consider it is free parking. Plus I can go do some shopping next to Ranch 99 without having to find another packing space like I would in Seattle.
Ambiance: Very ?Chinese? feel so good and suitable dining for one person to a big family.
Over all service is good.
Pros: Relatively close to most residential areas.
Cons: limited selections depending on the time

This restaurant has a great dim sum menu. It is clean and pleasant, and in a great location. Their food tastes more authentic than most Chinese restaurants in the area.

We usually come here for dim sum. Imperial Garden would be right at home in SF's Chinatown. Dim sum is served until 10 pm, but after about 2 or 3 pm, it's made to order. The kids love the ha gow, cha sui bow and especially the sticky rice.
If you don't want dim sum, you can order other non-Americanized Chinese food from their menu.
This is a great place to stretch your culinary experiences.
Food is great, the bathrooms could stand to be cleaner.

Wow. I don't think it can get any worse. The service was horrible. The servers went by with the dim sum cart and served everyone around my table but completely ignored my table. I had to stop them couple of times just to get some food!! Then they charged me for tea which I refused, when I pointed out the charge, they said I have to pay for cover charge if I don't drink tea! Amazing. I had never heard of it. I am one of those patient people who hate complaining about restaurants but this takes the cake. I was able to grab 3 dishes as it went by..horrible!!Go to Top Gun in Factoria instead. Food is much much better and so is the service!

After being promptly seated, I found that my tea cup was quite dirty (and easy to see this, as teacups are white at Chinese restaurants). We were sitting down for around 5 minutes and we did not get TEA, nor did we get anyone coming by with a cart full of dim sum!
Meanwhile, two tables down, another couple was served immediately after they sat down. Which was 30 seconds after we sat down. (They appeared to be asian-american, I realize that my boyfriend and I are very obviously of Irish/Swedish descent but we heart dim sum!)
I don't stick around places that have bad service right from the get-go... at 10:45 in the morning before a rush even begins. At least bring my freaking tea.
Try Top Gun Seafood in factoria area of bellevue. Excellent service, great food, reliable.
Pros: dunno
Cons: POOR POOR HORRIBLE SERVICE and dirty teacup

I'm quite used to the restaurants with not-very-good service, but this was the worst I've ever experienced in Seattle. It took us at least 3 requests to get some water after we sat down and for refills we had to grab a server's sleeve carrying a water pitcher to beg for some. Food was just okay - my friend took us there since she really liked their specials, which were not being served any more. I tried ordering some dessert directly off their menu, and the server started yelling at that I wasnt saying it quickly enough. When we were just more than ready to get out of that place, we realized we were overcharged they charged twice for a few of the items on our check. And the last scene was a server yelling at a cashier in front of the customers waiting to pay their checks.
Cons: Terrible service, Only average food, Crowded
