I have better luck at the Kent Budget finding parts for older cars. I am working on an older Camaro and recently found a hood and trunk lid. They were both in great shape. I have also purchased two complete engines from them in the past, both ran well and gave me no issues. I really enjoy just walking around the yard and looking, I sometimes very a real treasure.

All Japanese Auto is a family owned auto repair company. They are located in Kent, close to I-5. This auto repair shop is honest and quick. They have a very friendly staff and are very honest when it comes to quoting your repair. I have never had any problems with their service or their work. I have taken my car in two different times and have always been pleased with the result.

I traded my car in at Bret Chevrolet. and bought a new one. Bret Chevrolet did not pay to the Government the sale taxes I was charged during the trade and purchase of the new vehicle. I found out later that my trade in had already been sold to another party. That second party was charged AGAIN the sale taxes of the
SAME car. The way I found out is because the new tags were due on the traded car. This is 8 months afterwards I traded in the car for the new one. The traded in car was still under my name 8 months later. I find out that Bret Chevrolet closed its business on 11/08 suddenly. The Government was charging me with the tags for my new car and tags for the traded in car. I complained right away with Bret. They refused to show me the documents. The only thing they did was to pay the tags that day. 8 months later. If they did this to all the costumers who bought cars, they made millions. The taxes are alwasys more than $1,000.00 and if they sell 1000 cars, it is a million dollars FRAUD.

Very unprofessional. The shop had my vehicle for two days and no work was ever done on it. Took my car in early in the morning for an estimate, but never got a call back. I called half an hour before they closed and this is when they probably scrambled and gave me a random estimate. The estimate was very low to get your business as I later found out the part alone cost more than the estimate. They said they will work on it first thing in the morning and will have it done by the afternoon tomorrow. Never got a call back until I called them during closing time and they said they did not have time to work on it. There was never an apology or anything and this is conducting directly with the owner.

Within a few weeks of moving to a new town I started noticing some possible trouble with my car. I don't have a local mechanic, so my spouse and I looked around online to find a good local shop. I took my car (might I add, my household's only car) in to this shop and they looked it over. I never got a call back, I had to track them down to find out what was wrong. They said there were several things wrong with it, ok maybe... But none of those things they said were wrong made sense for my car. The symptoms did not match the diagnosis. I never heard noises that would indicate those problems, I never experienced a single symptom that would indicate those problems. I wondered if we were talking about the same car. The recommended repairs were more than the car is worth so I thought I would just have to go get it and donate it to charity or something. After picking it up, I decided to ask a local friend for a recommendation for different shop, just to get a second opinion. Laying out the cash for a whole car would be really expensive! Might as well give it a shot, right? So my friend mentioned another shop and I followed her advice. This shop let me know within 24 hours what was wrong. What they told me actually matched the symptoms (I didn't tell them about the other shop's diagnosis); and, get this.. Their estimate was under half the cost of Meridian, the time in the shop will be less, and if we have any further trouble with this area of the car they will credit all the labor cost to further repairs. You have to trust your mechanic; this one didn't have any reviews at all. Here's one that hopefully will steer you towards someone more honest. I don't trust this shop.
Pros: The waiting room was clean
Cons: I wouldn't let them touch my car with a ten foot pole.

We took our car here to get fixed after my hubby was rear-ended. It was not a major repair, just repair the bumper. When we went to pick it up, the bumper was loose and they had to take it back and screw it on tighter! My husband's speaker in his truck was also blown out after leaving our car there. They were fast - but maybe too fast!
