My family has been patients of Dr. Burke and his wonderful staff for 19 yrs. We would not go anywhere else. Dr. Burke and his team's diagnosis is always accurate, right meds have been given, and he is not opposed to discussing the use of vitamin and herbal therapies as well. I have seen him argue with an insurance company that opposed medical tests that were needed. All ages patients are welcome there and our entire family feels comfortable with his great team. Pros: They really care!

I recommended Dr. Burke to a new co-worker and while checking-in, he saw his next door neighbor and I have since met another patient. That makes four peiople I know who continue to use him -- not bad since I've only lived here a short time. Personally, I found the waiting time to be shorter than with other physicians. Dr. Burke tends to be old school family practioner who takes care of most problems in his office, rather than sending simple jobs to specialists. However, when he saw something unusual, he was quick to refer me to a specialist who concurred with his diagnoses. He takes time with patients and actually remebers to follow-up on things he said should be done. His physician's assistant is wonderful -- even better than he. Take an appointment with her over him anytime. She has a very practical approach to giving advice in terms that are understandable. She also presents reasons and ramifications in very firm terms. Pros: Experience and abilities. Not overly busy Cons: No strong cons found in two years

I have now been a patient of Dr. Burkes for 16 years, my daughter, and wife now visit him as well. He has always taken great care of me and my family and I would never think to leave his practice. Doctor's office's are never FUN to visit because you are normally there for a negative reason (i.e. sick, injured, etc.) but KFMC always takes great care in providing a loving and caring enviroment.

I went in for Hep Shots for a trip I am taking. I asked to have a Cholesterol test done at the same time. I received a card in the mail to tell me that I should speak to the DR re: the test. I went... More

I went in for Hep Shots for a trip I am taking. I asked to have a Cholesterol test done at the same time. I received a card in the mail to tell me that I should speak to the DR re: the test. I went back for the HEP booster shot a few weeks later and was told they could not speak to me about the Cholesterol test. I would have to make another appointment. The next appt I could get was 2 weeks later. on this now 3rd visit I was told My cholesterol was high (255) and was given a 4th grade nutrition lesson by the Nurse which took about 5 minutes and I was asked to make another appt in 3 months. This could not have been told to me on the previous visit? Instead I had to take another 2 hours off from work 2 weeks later. People here have no respect for other peoples time.

This is a very good place the people here are so caring and they are just the sweetest that i have met around here. I have tried so many different places and i think that this is one that i may want to stick with. The people there are just so nice and they just care about there patients to the point where the slightest cough is the worlds biggest thing.
