Best

My daughter has been coming here since she was 6 months old. In the past year I have been able to experience each doctor. It gave me a chance to see which one would be best for my...

Worst

The facility is beautiful with a wonderful, separate sitting area for sick and well children. The staff is very friendly, as well. However, the Dr. seems a bit out of touch with...

Just About the $$$ 8/29/2014

The front office staff is so unfriendly and they treat you like another number instead of an individual. The doctors take 2 minutes to look at your child and then they are done and charge you $200 for the visit. They practically roll their eyes when you ask questions about your child. Please find another practice to take your children, a place where doctors and office staff actually care about the well being of your family. more

They only care about the billings 10/18/2013

Good staff doctors but the owner Dr Lentch has a policy that they will not do parent consultations without the child there because they can't bill you. The office mgr said this verbatim. They only care about billing and $'s you can find better pediatrics in Katy! more

greed, not care. 12/6/2009

My dog suddenly passed out at about 1pm. She was limp and had an altered mental status. I rushed my girl to this "hospital" and was told, "the doctor is busy today. If you want to leave her here, and the doctor can look at her sometime after 7pm. And she may not want to stay, so it may be tomorrow before she is able to look at her. We would have to charge you for an emergency visit, of course." The woman who was calling herself a vet was standing right behind this girl. I wish I was kidding about what was said. Those are the exact words that I was told. I called them a few choice words as I was exiting. If you need a vet in this area do not patronize these greedy and heartless people.? more

The Best!! 4/28/2009

We started going to Cinco Ranch Peds after a suggestion from a friend. We LOVE Dr. Lenstch and Nurse Helen! Very professional yet easy going and great with the kids. I've never had a problem - they always go above and beyond. My kids love going to the doctor, and how many moms can say that? more

Outstanding 11/13/2007

I'm new to the area and had to leave my puppy with a friend while I was out of town for the weekend. As luck would have it, she got sick in the middle of the night . With no regular vet to call, my friend had to take her to Banfield in Katy. While the treatment was good, it took 4 hours to have her seen and treated... and she was the first walk in of the day! Two weeks later she developed a sore on her paw and I reluctantly made an appointment with Banfield. As I really could not chance missing 4 hours of work waiting in a vets office, I searched the internet and found the previous review on Cinco Ranch and decided to give them a call. They were able to see her in 30 mins from the time that I called! My puppy has always been afraid of the vet. They took extra time with her and showered her with attention and treats to make her less anxious. The vet spent time with her, did not rush through the visit, and was very informative. From the reception desk to the check-out, every single person there was so attentive, informative, and helpful. They even trimmed her nails at no charge! The waiting room is spectacular, with cushioned seating and a refreshment area with freshly baked cookies, and is sparkling clean. With all of the attention to detail, I expected the final bill to be astronomical. It was $66 for her to be seen, the medicine, and a 6 pack of the special canned food that she eats. AND... I was in and out in 30 mins. Admittedly, this was our first visit. However, unless the treatment and service dramatically decline on subsequent visits, my spoiled pouch has a new doctor and Cinco Ranch Vet Hospital has a new loyal patient. more

Clean, Friendly, Affordable 3/8/2007

After our fiasco with All Pets Animal Hospital, I called Cinco Ranch Vet Hospital in hopes that they might be able to do a last minute squeeze in to do a wellness exam on my new puppy (All Pets had cancelled the appointment just hours before we were due in). They were very kind and accommodating and fit us in that day. The office is located across from Lifetime Fitness in a relatively new building. When we walked in it didn't smell AT ALL. Everything was beautifully clean and decorated. Its actually a NICE place to be. The staff at the front were very cheerful and friendly. They swooned over my new puppy and helped us pick a name. The waiting rooms are also very clean and well equipped. They have nice padded bench seats to sit on while we waited and TVs with a pet health info DVD playing. Everything was very nicely decorated. We didn't have to wait long at all - the Doctors and nurses were very prompt. Piper had a great experience despite having a prod up her bottom with a thermometer! She did great and likes all the staff who really seem to like her too - they even remember her by name when we go in. When Piper got smacked in the eye by one of our cats, we rushed her in at 7:00 AM and they kept her all day without charge so the vet could have a look at her between appointments. When our eldest cat had some emergency health issues, they saw her that evening - just a few hours after my call. They suggested several courses of action and recommended what would be best. The diet change they suggested has done wonders for her AND she's lost an immense amount of her excess weight. Way more than our former vet at All Pets managed. They have extended hours so its easy to get an appointment at a good time for us. They also have very reasonable prices. I don't feel like I'm being fleeced just to give my pet good health care. Ive also spotted the staff cleaning - they have a water vacuum system so everything stays sanitary. They also call after appointments to check in. We have seen 2 of the vets on staff and they're very nice. I also like that I can call up with concerns and they'll do their best to answer over the phone without needing an appointment (unlike All Pets). My only complaint is that they use Fort Dodge Vaccines (terrible vaccine company in my opinion, at least for dogs and especially where the sensitive breeds are concerned - like my American Eskimo). We take Piper to be vaccinated at our OLD OLD vet on Beechnut and Wilcrest (Dr. Maxon). He uses Pfizer vaccines. Happy with our new vet we chose them to board Piper when we had to go away on short notice. We spent $22 a night on a large 5'x3' "run" for her. She was walked three times a day, fed twice, played with in their enclosed yard, and groomed on the day of pick-up at no charge (bathed, nails clipped, ears and eyes flushed, anal glands expressed, feet hair trimmed, and an Easter bandanna to finish it off). They feed science diet to their boarders but were happy to use the diet I provided. When we picked Piper up she was happy and healthy. They monitor their boarders weight every day and are watched by vet techs for illness. We were very happy with the whole experience. Piper was tired when she came home, I'm sure it was tough for her as she'd never been left before, but all things considered she did great and we were happy with the whole experience. I say this as a Pet Sitter as well, I'm so glad that she got to stay in a large enclosure and play in the yard. As a puppy she really needed that and a fellow Pet Sitter would have had to leave her in her Crate between visits if we'd gone that direction. I was very happy and so was she. Bottom line? CLEAN, friendly, attentive, flexible, affordable, no pressure / no guilt, knowledgeable, caring, nearby. I'm so very happy with this vet. Im giving them a 4 star rating because it would be nice if they used a different vaccine brand. more

Great, caring physicians! 9/27/2005

When we moved, I was nervous about finding a new pediatrician. We had been with our previous pediatrician from the time my daughter was born and loved him. Cinco Ranch Pediatrics was recommended to us by several people and we love them! Dr. Lentsch and Helen Fox-McCloy, her nurse practitioner are wonderful! On our first visit, they went through my daughter's history with us, and listened to all of our concerns. They let us give our feedback on vaccinations for our daughter and worked out a schedule for us that we were happy with. They have a side for well children and a side for sick children. They have lots of toys in the lobby for your children to play with while they wait. They also have Saturday hours 3 weekends a month, which is great for working parents! more
