I once had to take my dog to gladstone animal clinic when I adopted him, because that is where the animal shelter took him to get fix and check out for fleas and other puppy ailments. They seemed to be busy all of the time, with a waiting room full of other animals, but the vet was very nice, explained things that needed to be taken care of, and when to bring him back to get his stitches taken out. They even gave him a treat, and now he doesn't hate going to the vet that much!

This upper class park is a great place to take your children, have a pinic, or walk your dog around the ponds (watch out for the ducks!) It can be very romantic, and many weddings are performed at the Rose Garden in the spring and summer. It is also very clean

Enrollment is user friendly and course offerings are varied. I definitely recommend Maple Woods to anyone wanting to further their education in the Northland.

Hyde Park is a great clean park near 39 th street and Gilliam Road. They have a smallish play ground area for chidlren, a few soccer fields, and a baseball diamond with stands. They host adult soccer and softball leagues, and in the summer time have family viewings for movies that are free! Also near the art district of KC.

Swope Park is home to the kansas city zoo, and also starlight theatre. This park is huge with green lush areas, and great places to bring your family and dogs. Great pinic areas, and they even have a fishing pond for you to take your children and fish the day away. Everyone should check this free park out.
