I've been going here since early 80's, when my father would bring me here. He also loved the food, he tried everything through the years. I love the food and atmosphere. Maybe not the best neighborhood , but I have NEVER had problems there. I'll always eat here as long as it's open. Thanks Mama Tio's. Don't change a thing.

I am a huge fan of Mama Tios. It is not located in the best neighborhood, however, the food is great. They have an area with chips and salsa and you serve yourself. I love to order the beef sancho supreme. It is huge and is a flour tortilla filled with beef, sour cream, black olives, lettuce, and smothered in a cheese sauce. They have excellent service. The restaurant is not very well lit inside. They also have great margaritas.

Excellent restaurant, however, it is not located in the best part of Kansas City, Missouri. Each meal is served with chips and salsa. I always order the super Sancho supreme with chicken. It is a flour tortilla filled with shredded chicken, lettuce, sour cream, black olives, and smothered in a cheese sauce. The servings are huge and the prices are very reasonable.

A great mexian restaurant, large portions, and a great price. I have never left hungry. Margaritas are also very good.
