This is a great place to take the kids. With its huge facility offering all kinds of educational games and attractions for both kids and adults. Always a good crowd present but for more personal space, head there during the week. Your children will have a blast and will be learning new things as well. Enjoy things like digging for fossils or miniature golf. Adults must pay for entry also. But YOU will definitely enjoy your time there. I know I did!

what a great place to have here in town. Science city is a huge place inside Union Station, with one part being museum and hands on experimenting and the other part being a constantly changing exhibition (every 2-3 month). When we take our kids there we all (the whole family) have a blast. there are several scientific experiments that the kids can take (music, weather, criminology....), there's an indoor playground, indoor mini golf court (really small though) and then there is the exhibit. it changes every 3-4 month and is always really interesting. There's lots of things to learn for everybody. It's not cheap to get in, depending on how big the family is, but you can stay for hours and not get bored! There's also a little bistro with tables to sit and eat. Great family outing!

Very old and untidy store.
It is behind the almost empty Antioch Mall so that doesn't help.
Never has new stuff. Staff are nice enough. Plenty of parking spaces. Lots of fabrics but not a lot of anything else. Stock around the holidays is slightly better and the prices are good when the item is on sale. I would go to the store in Shawnee or wait until the new store on Barry Rd opens in November.

This fabric store is another great place to find your fabric's and craft items. They have a large selection of fabric's for every season of the year. If you can't find it here then you will find it at Hancock and if you cant find it a Hancock you will find it at jo Ann's. At the end of the seasons you can find some really great deals on fabrics from the season before. I love to go stock up on items for the next year.
