The service is great, people are so friendly, the chips & salsa are both served warm (the way they should be) and the restaurant is very authentic! The closest mexican food that I have found to this wonderful restaurant is in San Antonio (but Los Corrals is even better!). Give it a try and I recommend the pork and bean burritos! Pros: The food is amazing and such fast service! Meal was served in 7 minutes! Cons: The chairs are rather small.

I would normally highly recommend this place because the food is excellent. But the service has always been horrible. Always. But yesterday we had a party of 5 along with a toddler. We ordered a childs plate but got and were charged for an adult plate. There was also an additional $17 dollars on the bill that we could not account for. They said it was for steak burrittos however the bill already had that on it. So when we went to pay we argued the point. They insisted they were right. They did agree that with us that their service was awful. It is very unfortunate that they lose a long time customer. I could put up with bad service for great food. I can't put up with being cheated out of money. So, they won the round yesterday. I won the round this time. Pros: thumbs up on quality and taste of the food. Cons: poor service. not enough help

I am 26 years old & I have been eating at Los Corrals my whole life. This is no exaggeration. My parents have been eating there since the mid-70's when they were first dating, & we have continued to eat there ever since. I am a creature of habit. I always get the Chicken Burrito Spread (all chicken, with lettuce) & a Tostada w/ extra cheese. My husband is a little less predictible. Huevos Rancheros, Enchilada Rancheros, Nana special, #1 combo, he'll try anything. :) This is the restaruant that I compare all other Mexican restaraunts to. I hate Mexican places that pour nacho cheese over your burritos, or add a side of sour cream to everything. The chips are great, always hot (too hot sometimes) & super fresh & the salsa doesn't taste like ice cold ketchup (like too many other mexican-ish restaraunts). This is hands down the best place to eat in all of Kansas City. 10 STARS!! A+++ Customer for life (was a customer before life too!) Enjoy & try not to over eat! :) Pros: Cheap Prices Great Food Cons: Weekends super busy, No more free parking

Look, before I tried Los Corrals, I was on the verge of committing suicide. Then my friends caught wind of my despair and came over to stop me. They took me out for a nice Chicken Burrito Spread, (no beans)... hold the lettuce. Los Corrals saved my life. In all seriousness, I love this place, you see the same friendly faces, and the chips are sent from heaven. They are always super quick, the food is consistently great, and I will continue to take my friends. Its the best food in KC, I don't care about authenticity, its just good. If you're a cheap as$, take a date, they will think you are cool because you took them somewhere besides the F!@#$%G Cheesecake Factory... and you'll be sitting pretty because you'll pay like 17 bucks for some queso and two burrito spreads. You're an idiot if you don't go here, And to the choads below who threw out a bad review. Shut up, you're retarded and you were probably a pr!ck, that's why you got sh!tty service. I haven't eaten there in a few year but was searching the web for them and wanted to post. They have the best mexican food in KC. Prices are reasonable as hell and the food is fantastic. When they are busy, they are busy, this is not Taco Bell, so it might take awhile. The first time I ate there was a Friday night and of course they were packed. When we were seated the server was prompt, but we were not ready to order given the killer menu selections so we asked for some time. The server was honest and told us that given how busy they were, it might take him 20 mins to get back to us BUT, see that guy, he'll keep you full of beer, and see that guy, he'll make sure you have plenty of chips and salsa and I'll send them right over. As it worked out we needed the time anyway, they kept us full of beer and chips as promised and brought out the best food you could imagine, and the food came out in a resonable time once we got our order put in. If you want a relaxed back time and excellent food in a non-stuffy atmosphere, definately go. Regarding the comment by Piedra79 - "First off...I don't understand how any self respecting Mexican restaurant can misspell its title." The veracity of this comment should be considered; the family that owns the place is named Corrals......I'm guessing they know how to spell their own name. How did I find this out, just did a little research into the place is all? I want to make it clear, I don't know the people, I have no interest in the place or anything; I just don't like seeing good hard working people and/or businesses berated for no valid reason. If you don't like the food, cool - your opinion, but the name calling (no pun intended) or personal attacks indicate a lack of maturity and fairness. Pros: The best food, great prices, relaxed. Cons: Don't go if you are in a hurry on a Friday, just relax and have a good time.

To tell you how good they are,I have been going here since I was a little girl,and have introduced alot of people to this wonderful place.They have the best mexican food in town,and pretty good service,and the owner she is as sweet as can be,and alway's remembers you when you come back,great atmosphere,some of there price's are kind of steep, but you get what you pay for,and a nice little added bonus is, they now are selling there sauce in the grocery stores (certain one's) so that is a plus for people that love there sauce.I know I drive away's away to eat there but I love it so I don't mind.
