I used the midwives in the practice, Shelia Roth and Kim Anderson for my 1st pregnancy and I would not recommend them to anyone. In the middle of my 2nd trimester I developed a life threatening condition for which they missed all of the warning signs. I had protein in my urine which they told me was normal and was swollen to the point that I could not walk upstairs. They ignored these symptoms and sent me home. When I called the office complaining of intense pain and nausea they told me I just had the flu. This went on for 2 weeks. I called the office 5 times within that period. 2 of my phone calls were never returned. 2 of the other calls were returned by trainee midwives. I finally had to go to the ER where they told me if I had come in much later I could have died. All the midwives told me was to do was eat papaya and toast and drink apple cider vinegar. The practice also could never find my charts. They actually asked me if I could just carry a paper copy of my chart with me to all my appointments because they couldn't locate mine! There were several appointments that I showed up to and the midwives had no record of my appointment even though the front desk did. I often had to wait for them to finish with other clients so that they could "squeeze" me in since they weren't expecting me.
Overall I think this practice has grown through their acceptance of medicaid patients. They are always overbooked. They waiting room always felt a little bit "ghetto". I am all for natural child birth and midwives, but I felt these ones were way too casual through the whole thing. I know of at least 5 other people who have had similarly bad experiences. Stay away!
Pros: convienent, good high risk doctor
Cons: rude staff, overbooked, slow, incompetent

The office staff, however, are cold and curt. I still go there because I love the doctor I see. The staff leaves a lot to be desired and I think the docs should replace them and their manager and put someone in there with a more caring attitude. It is, after all, Health CARE!.
Pros: Excellent physicians and nurses
Cons: Cold, uncaring office staff
