Good food, but the staff really have an attitude problem. Customer service these days isn't given the attention it once was, but they failed big time. A group of friends and I went there for a burger and were asked to leave because we didn't have ID. We didn't ask for alcohol and there were families with children at their tables. I will never return to this place.

For me, it's always a real treat to go to Hooper's, and well worth the trip to Brookside. Located only two or three blocks from the MAX stop for 63rd, Hooper's boasts what is easily the best tap selection in the city. About 40 taps stand between the customer and the bartenders, and about five or six of them change on a regular basis. At the moment, it's the only place in the metro that has Bell's Two Hearted Ale on tap, and that's reason enough for me to go. The layout is that of a neighborhood bar, with everything in woodgrain- walls, floors, ceilings, tables, chairs -everything. The staff is eager to please, but can sometimes take a little while, because the place gets very busy at least five nights a week. Highly recommended.

Hooper's has one of the best tap selections in town, backed up by an also-excellent bottled beer variety. The food is good quality, but basically standard bar food. The bar has a good deal of open space with plenty of whether you choose a booth, table, or to belly-up to the bar.

If you're looking for a relaxed place to have a few drinks, Charlie Hooper'sis the perfect hangout. The feel is completely local, and they have a full menu selection, as well as daily drink and dining specials. The menu is broad and the food basic but decent. Charlie hoopers also features a huge selection of domestic and imported beers.
